fox really released season 2 where Eddie and Buck create a bond with "you can have my back any day" and then proceeded to establish that Eddie and Shannon's relationship failed because they didn't have each other's back, making the expression a metaphor for trust and loyalty

I need everyone to lock in. "having each other's back" was the expression used to explain what made Eddie's wife leave them and to establish that Buck and Eddie have a bond now

and some people think buddie is platonic when the show made fucking parallels about Eddie's wife and Eddie's bestie
