My name is Lois Lane, and I am a Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist from the Daily Planet. I'm dedicated to giving the people unbiased information, and to supporting the communities are me.

I have a cat named Mr. Foofoo-pants, and she is amazing. @foofoo-fighter

My Lois isn't really based off of any particular canon, and I will definitely not be sticking to canon. Most of what I know about Lois actually comes from silver aged comics (I love old comics) but I'm not going to have her act like she did in the silver age.

Lois is definitely interested in Superman, but she doesn't currently plan on taking that relationship past professional. She thinks that Clark has a crush on Superman and will be trying to get them to date [I don't care if he and Lex Luthor are married, Clark's a much better guy].

Lois's parents got divorced when she was 15, and then remarried each other again when she was 20. She also has a brother.

Lois is in her late 20s.

I'm also open to other ships, and interactions with lots of different characters. If you want to start a random interaction with Lois, just send an ask. If you want an rp with a planned out plot, make sure to message me first (I am also willing to start long rps even if I don't know the plot, and we can surprise each other ;)). The only thing I will not do is explicit stuff, I'm not into that.

Hey, y'all! I'm Noi (he/they) (@s0m30n3n01) and I just like comics. My age is 16+ (I don't feel comfortable giving away any specific info online), and I will not be engaging in anything that's explicit. I'm fine with flirting and romance (in character, not ooc) but that's as far as I go. I love paleontology, archaeology, anthropology, and lots of other stuff.

I wanted to make this blog because I haven't really seen lots of Lois Lanes on here. She deserves more rep (I'm probably not gonna do her the justice she deserves :/).

In his civilian life, he decided to do something to help Gotham after he experienced a bar fight. Through a strange set of circumstances, he decided that dressing up as the world's fastest bird at night was the best course of action he could take.

The Peregrine Falcon is a wide-range fighter, using the archery skills he learned in Boy Scouts to take down his enemies (petty thieves). While he's not opposed to lethal force if necessary, he much prefers a more defensive approach.

//Who is Thomas?

Thomas is a 19 year old New Yorker who attends Gotham University. Within his first week in Gotham he realized that he really liked it there. After an encounter with (a) Robin, and a few too many beers, Thomas decided that he was going to do something to help his new home. He changed his degree from marketing to education, and started learning robotics on the side.

Thomas is also an amputee (missing left leg, below the knee), and builds his own prosthetics.

Experiencing a bar fight made him realize that he could do even more for the city, and he became the Peregrine Falcon!

What clothes do you own?

I mostly own sports clothing though I have some formal wear.

How formal should you be for ballet?

I assume gala attire would be too formal, right?

It honestly depends.

If you're there as an aristocrat/celebrity, than gala attire is perfect.

If not, than I'd suggest something formal but not flashy.

A black, sleeveless pencil dress and a little white cardigan is a safe outfit option! It's sleek, but it doesn't call attention away from the stage. Plus, Pearls, gold, and silver jewelry look good with it!

"Goldview Apartments... yeah, this is it."

[She walks inside, tells the clerk she's here to visit a friend, and makes her way to the elevator. ]

"Alright... now we just– ah! Room 503, right there!"

[She knocks on the door.]

"Clark, I'm here!"

The knock hit the door like a starter pistol.

Clark froze mid-motion, one hand hooked under the hem of the blue top as he pulled it up over his ribs, the fabric catching for half a second on sweat-damp skin. The apartment still smelled like him, as Superman. Ozone and rain and scorched asphalt, that sharp, clean bite that clung after a hard flight and a too-close brush with something electrical. His boots sat by the couch like they’d been kicked off by a man who’d run out of patience, cape draped over the back of a chair in an undignified slump, the red belt half unfastened and hanging at his hips.

Then Lois’s voice, bright through the wood.

“Clark, I’m here!”

His heart did a stupid little leap and then immediately remembered he was half-undressed in the most incriminating way possible.

“Oh-!” Clark hissed under his breath, scrambling. He yanked the top the rest of the way off and tossed it toward the couch, where it landed in a blue heap that looked way too heroic for the living room of a guy who owned a busted toaster. He reached for the belt next, fingers moving fast, fumbling once because his hands were still keyed up from whatever he’d just come back from- muscle memory yelling move, move, move even though this was not a building falling and no one was bleeding out.

“Okay, okay-” he muttered to himself, snagging the belt free and shoving it behind a cushion like that made it invisible to anyone with eyes. The trunks and boots were still a problem. He grabbed the nearest pair of civilian pants, jeans slung over the arm of the chair, stepped into them one leg at a time, hopping once in a way that would’ve been funny if he wasn’t absolutely panicking, and tugged them up over the offending evidence with all the grace of a man trying to win a war against denim.

He snatched his glasses off the counter and slid them on, as if the frames could magically turn 'Superman who just fought something' into “Clark Kent who definitely did not.” He ran a hand through his hair, smearing it worse, then stopped and tried again with his fingers like a comb. His shirt, plaid and wrinkled, was on the back of the chair. He got one arm through, then the other, buttons done wrong in his haste, so he had to redo them, breath coming a little quick. Ozone still clung to him anyway, sharp at the edges of the room.

He got to the door just as Lois knocked again.

Clark opened it a little too fast, then immediately softened into a smile like he hadn’t been a human tornado for the last thirty seconds. “Lois-hey.” His voice came out warm, slightly breathless, and he leaned his shoulder into the frame like that was normal. “Wow. You really- you found it. Hi.” He blinked behind his glasses, trying not to look guilty about anything in particular, which was always when he looked guiltiest.

Then his gaze dropped to what she was carrying and the smile widened, genuine and grateful. “Is that… the toaster?” He stepped back quickly to let her in, gesturing with an open hand. “Come on, come on- sorry, it’s… a little chaotic in here. I was just-” getting out of spandex, he did not say. “-I just got back.”

He moved ahead of her instinctively, scooping up the cape and top from the chair with one quick, casual grab and folding it like it was laundry, tucking it out of sight before she could get a good look. He tried to be slick about it. He was not slick about it.

Clark cleared his throat, face just faintly pink. Turning to face her, tilting his head, that boyish fondness creeping in, “welcome to apartment 503." His arms stretched out a bit in a welcoming gesture.

[Lois looked Clark up and down; sometimes she "checked him out" to tease him at work— everyone did— but she wasn't checking him out. She was observing him.]

"Looks like you had fun."

[She smirks, putting the toaster down on the kitchen island. As she turned back to Clark, something caught her eye.]

[Red boots.]

"Jeez, Smallville, trying out go-go dancing-"

[She stopped herself, frozen. She recognized those boots.]

"Wait a minute..."

[Those are Superman's! I'd recognize those booties anywhere! That means... She gasped.]

"I knew it! Clark, you- you are fucking Superman!!"

The words hit him in the chest harder than most things capable of leaving craters. His smile did not disappear all at once. It faltered first, caught at one corner like it had snagged on a nail, then slipped into something too blank to be convincing. Just Clark Kent in his own apartment, standing in mismatched socks with his shirt buttoned wrong, staring at Lois Lane while she pointed at the bright red boots he had somehow failed to hide.

The toaster sat on the kitchen island between them like the world’s least helpful witness.

“What?” he said, and it came out far too high. He cleared his throat immediately, one hand flying to the back of his neck, fingers pressing hard against warm skin. “No. No, that’s- Lois, that’s ridiculous.”

It was maybe the worst thing he could have said to Lois Lane. He knew it the second it left his mouth. Her eyes sharpened in that way they did when a bad source contradicted himself, when a politician got slippery, when a door marked private practically begged her to kick it open. Clark could practically see the story assembling behind her face: the ozone smell, the breathlessness, the red boots, the cape he had definitely not tucked away as well as he thought he had, the fact that he looked like a man who had just sprinted through a thunderstorm and tried to solve it with plaid.

He moved without thinking, stepping slightly to the side to block the boots with his body. It was an absurd effort. He was broad, yes, but the boots were red, glossy, and sitting beside his couch like they had paid rent. His heel caught the edge of one and nudged it backward with a soft, damning squeak against the floorboards.

“Those are not- ” Clark started, then stopped because saying those are not Superman’s boots while actively trying to hide Superman’s boots with his foot felt like an insult to both of their intelligence. His hand dropped from his neck, lifted again, then uselessly adjusted his glasses. “They’re, uh. They’re cosplay.”

The word hung in the apartment. Clark could hear the refrigerator humming. The distant traffic below. Somebody laughing in the hallway two doors down. Lois' breathing. He could also hear his own heart performing what could only be described as a drum solo of guilt.

“Not- regular cosplay,” he added quickly, because apparently he had decided to keep digging. “Obviously. I mean, not obviously like- not that it’s obvious because it’s good. It’s just- Metropolis has events. Charity things. Sometimes people ask. Kids like Superman.” His mouth kept moving while the rest of him watched in horror from somewhere several feet outside his body. “And, you know, we’re roughly the same height if you don’t look too closely, which you are currently doing.”

That was worse.

Clark shut his eyes for a fraction of a second, then opened them again with the strained determination of a man trying to back a tractor out of a ditch without anyone noticing the fence was already broken. “I mean, not the same height. Obviously, he’s taller. Or- maybe not taller. People exaggerate. Camera angles. Capes do a lot. You’d be surprised.”

"And you'd know how much capes can do, right."

[She crosses her arms, shifting her weight to one foot. She was somehow able to keep her eyes entirely focused on Clark's face, though her brain swirled- trying to put this together like a puzzle. The moment he had tried to deny anything triggered her, like a K9 searching for drugs.]

"You've never once mentioned any interest in cosplay- not even when Drew suggested that you dress up as Superman for Halloween. You said it would be a 'disservice to everyone' if you attempted to fill the suit."

[She began to pace, stroking her chin as if she had a beard, a habit she's not sure where she picked up.]

"And I haven't heard of anyone doing Superman impersonations- especially not for public events."

[She paused again, turning back to Clark, knowing he'd have that inquisitive look on his face.]

"Cat keeps me up to date on all the goings-on."

[She waved her hand dismissively, walking over to those boots.]

"What are they made out of? They don't look like rubber or plastic. I've been to a couple of conventions myself, and I've never seen anything like this."

[Clark's right. I probably am looking too closely.]

"You smell weird. New cologne? I don't recognize it."

[She really was like a hound.]

Happy Birthday, Smallville!!!

In commemoration of this fabulous day, here's some of Clark's best moments:

• falling into the fountain during the New Year's party a couple of years ago

• punched the punch bowl on Halloween

• Accidentally called his mom while on a date (learned this from her Facebook page 💕)

• Showed him a cute cat video and he got sad because it was from 15 years ago which meant that the cat had probably died already

• Probably has IBS (please go get that checked out, Clark, I'm not joking)

• Workplace Hazard (we genuinely have protocols for when Clark trips and breaks something important 😭)
