Don’t know who need to hear this or if it’s just me but you’re not going to hell because you didn’t solve world peace. You’re not going to hell because you didn’t feed enough hungry people or clothe enough naked people or visit enough people in prison. Especially if you’re young or lower income or otherwise unable due to any reason: you as an individual cannot save the world and you’re not called to. Love your neighbor, yes, and love your nearest neighbor first and foremost.
My hope for whoever is reading this is that your life starts making sense and coming together. I hope the good days are right around the corner for you.

O Good Shepherd, you never cease to seek out the lost, to call home the stray, to comfort the frightened, and to bind up the wounded. I ask you to bring (name) back to the practice of the Faith, and to remove all obstacles that prevent them from receiving your abundant mercy, which flows sacramentally through the heart of your holy Church. Hey, we’re in line for some absurd temperatures here in the southwest this week. This is very important to know and keep in mind. Be safe, stay hydrated, stay out of the sun as much as you can.
Remember kids, DO NOT chug half a gallon of water all at once. Go ahead and chug just a bit, but then make yourself stop and take sips consistently over time.
If you’re still desperately thirsty after having some water, you probably need electrolytes. There are many options - eat a pickle, have a gatorade (or whatever brand you prefer), add an electrolyte packet to your water, sprinkle salt on some watermelon, make a fun drink with coconut water.
Foods count for hydration, too! Juicy fresh fruits and veg, cold soups, popsicles!

More Christians need to stop doing fucking colonizer shit. Stop going to other countries to tell them to accept your white man’s version of Christianity and build shoddy houses without actually listening to the communities and their wishes and what they say they need and more importantly their consent as to whether or not they want you over there at all. Stop going out to people on the street telling them to realize they’re shit and need to change or they’ll be punished.
Go to protests and when someone asks you why you’re there, say your faith compels you to stand alongside the victims of oppression. Go to the soup kitchen. The DV shelters. The homeless camps. The low income housing. And ask what help they need and want (and if they don’t want it, fuck off). Donate your time and resources to organizations doing mutual aid and real work. Go yell at the empire and fight to tear it down from its idolatrous throne. Be an example of love and care and liberating radical change in the world. THAT is the great commission.
I know I've been... aggressive... before regarding the usamerican military, but the Episcopal Church just re-uploaded their document breaking down conscientious objection from military service via religious grounds, and I highly encourage anyone Episcopal who might be connected to the united states military, be it themselves or through others, to give it a look and spread it around. I'm sure the information will still be helpful for other non-Episcopal Christians, and the paperwork is likely the same. Remember our two greatest commandments:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

For small joy Saturday, one of the things that made me realize my depression was in remission was suddenly noticing how beautiful clouds are. Can I relapse at any point? Yes, but for today, the clouds are beautiful, and I thank God for making each and every one.
