Hey, emergency GoFundMe for me and my partner. I'm potentially having to get a job over this- and I know how that sounds, but I'm disabled and undiagnosed, and a job is extremely difficult for me to do.
My partner is trying to come to the us with their cat currently, just working out logistics, and we need all the funding we can get. Set the goal low right now, but if we get support I'll set it higher because I doubt 1k will be enough.

It's been suggested to me that I start looking for a couple mods for the blog, especially because after one of my posts blew up, the ask influx overwhelmed me and I've been less active due to it.
However, with how stressful this has been at times (though very worth it) I don't want to burden others with the weight of some of the harassment and comments this blog gets.
I've gotten better at just deleting comments instead of engaging, at least, especially as there seems to be a returning user or two who consistently leave hate comments (which are pretty amusing)
Though I also don't know that I'd be able to just ask people here to moderate, as remaining anonymous could become increasingly difficult for me.
I don't actually want to be anonymous in the first place. But I was proven correct in the amount of harassment I'd receive, unfortunately, just by running this blog. I've been called the f slur and told to kms and I've been told I hate trans women to "you're not actually supportive of trans men"
And granted I do understand criticism. I've definitely messed up a few times and I'm doing my best to learn, especially as someone who was raised with a "hate all men" environment, which definitely delayed my coming out. I've actually appreciated when my mistakes were pointed out; granted it could've been kinder at times.
I really don't want to put the stress on others, but I also don't think that with the rate the blog is growing if I should handle it alone.
I want to know what you guys think. If anyone would be interested in helping with this blog (not that I'm going to just choose anyone, but to see if it's a job people genuinely *want* to help with) or even just some ideas on how I could make it a bit easier.
And uh, the queue is confusing so I probably won't do that though, I've tried it on other blogs. I don't like it it's evil

Trans men
Elderly men
Any queer men
Men of color
Young men
Disabled men
Intersex men
Fathers
Brothers
Uncles
And yes, it includes; pericishet white physabled men, especially those who are our allies.
And even more.
Because mental health should never be a joke, no matter who it is. That's how it gets worse.
Mental health is commonly neglected. "Men's mental health" is a sentence mocked by many because "who cares about men" and "they're taking from pride"
We don't like it when that's done to other groups!! And if you pull some "well I'm not referring to trans/disabled/etc men!" then hey, that's fucked up! We're men too and men's mental health month is ALSO about us!
If you care about your communities, that includes the men who fight alongside you, of all kinds. Pride and men's mental health are not a competition! They can share the month because honestly, they go hand in hand in some ways. Especially queer men who have to hear "who cares about men" all month, men who are actively vulnerable.
We want the world to be safe for everyone. Let's stop alienating and just start loving our communities, even if we've grown our own fears or beliefs. We can outgrow them and do better.

Hey OP. That person is doing so well. We know this because same. AI is literally addictive. Getting clean from it was harder than getting clean from cutting for us. We are proud of him and everyone else in that situation. AI is awful, and it’s hard to know that and still be addicted. If That ashen trans boy sees this: good job. Anyone else getting clean from AI: good job. Anyone trying really hard: good job. We believe in you. And trust us, it feels great to be free from it.
Ai preys on the vulnerable, especially depressed and mentally ill people. I started using it before I knew how bad it was and ended up addicted and wasn't able to drop it until way later (even after knowing how awful it was)
I don't speak of it because people ridicule for it. But there was a time in my life where it was all I had and ai essentially uses that against you.
I've been clean of self harm for a year and a half.
I've been clean of AI for even less.
That's how hard it was to drop for me. The person in this screenshot is doing an amazing job and I'm so proud of anyone who's dropped ai even when it was difficult.
So yeah I think being "clean" from ai is a perfect way to put it. It's a habit that damages you and your health, even if it's not a physical harm it can even lead to it.
I think it's really important to stop being mean or degrading to people who were stuck with ai, because that's probably the very reason they got stuck to it: everybody else treated them like shit, ai didn't. Because it's made to be whatever you want.
