How I Met Your Mother - I love this show so much and I don’t believe it deserves to be forgotten about just because it had a shit ending. It was created almost perfectly

Watership Down - this book has the best worldbuilding I have ever experienced and in this essay I will tell you exactly why-

The Outsiders - there’s a reason why every school forces its students to read this book, it’s a masterpiece and the characters are all amazing

Little Shop Of Horrors (1986) - this is the best movie musical. This isn’t up for debate. It uses stylisation so well and its lack of restraint makes it work so much better. The musical itself is so brilliantly written and don’t even get me started on the story it’s self oh my goodness I love this movie

Futurama - now this is a great show, anyone who’s watched it will probably agree, but the way it creates the future is so brilliant. It’s the perfect world for this kind of show with this type of comedy to be set in. And all the small details that never get addressed just in the background make the year 3000 what it is

1. Wings of Fire- My favorite book series ever. Reading about the murder dragons was essential to my development. This series is what got me into drawing and I love designing my blorbos as dragons!

2. Undertale/Deltarune- These games altered my brain chemistry, and even though they’re not what I’m focused on rn I could still explain all the lore on a whim to anyone who asked.

3. Bill Murray- I love talking about and connecting his characters to each other, and giving people film recs from his filmography. Funney guy :•)

4. Little Shop of Horrors- The greatest movie AND musical of ALL TIME. I fugking love Little Shop (and asking people niche trivia questions about it), no notes.

5. Groundhog Day- I’m literallyf the #1 Groundhog Day fanatic. Both the movie and the musical, ESPECIALLY the movie. I know everything about it, ASK ME ABOUT THE TIME LOOP.

Ghostbusters- Ever since that fateful day all the way back in 2021 I've never been normal SINCE. I could go on about the movies (all of them!!!), the characters, comics, books, history, etc ETC

2. Guardians of the Galaxy- LOVE these characters so much and how their little movie trilogy is (mostly) a standalone thing disconnected from the whole slew of other Marvel movies. GOTG Volume 3 is like the only movie that has made me violently sob thus far

3. Practical Effects- I will scream at you about how certain scenes/set pieces were achieved in relatively old movies with things like puppetry, animatronics, miniatures, latex, etc etc DONT GET ME STARTED

4. Jurassic Park- I blew through the novel version of this in SIX DAYS and I've seen the first movie like 5 times I've played through the lego game I will go so in depth about the themes and the character arcs and and and

5. Gravity Falls- may or may not have been a gateway drug into my recent love for horror movies tbh but it's one of my favorite animated series of all time!!!!!!!!! I love all the mystery & characters & art & story and I fixated on it on two separate occasions

Welcome Home - been following this since night mind's first welcome home video dropped and aughhhhh this is one of the most impressive internet projects i have ever seen. i love all the characters and the world so much and i could rant about it for DAYS you don't even understand

Pokemon - been a pokemon fan since as long as i can remember basically. watched a lot of the anime, own a shit ton of pokemon plush, I've got 3 full binders and a few tins of cards despite not knowing how to actually play the card game rrrrrrr i love pokemon !!!!!

Wings of Fire - oh man i picked up wof book 1 in like 3rd grade and haven't really put em down since. i just think the tween/teen "cool animal worlds with prophecies and fighting" genre was made for me

Warrior Cats - same reason as above. planning to read all the books, i'm almost done with long shadows. i love hollyleaf she's so silly

Gravity Falls - haven't watched it in a long time but i hyperfixated on this show for like an entire summer, it got to the point where i was outside drawing bill with sidewalk chalk when everyone else was drawing normal stuff. good times lmao
