You guys, I reblogged this 2 days ago out of desperation. Today I was looking through my old wallet for coins to go to the vending machine because thatâs all I can fucking afford. I havenât touched this thing since July/ August. When I found a disappointing 15 cents in the coin pocket I went to the billfold to see if any coins were in there. Thatâs when I saw them. 5 crisp bills amounting to $22. I literally screamed and danced around my room out of joy before remembering that Iâd reblogged this post.
Tl;dr - This post is fucking magical and actually worked for me.
Iâm broke as fuck. Money gods pls send me like 100k.
I never reblog these, letâs give it a shot. BIG MONEY, BIG MONEY
I reblogged this last week and withing an hour I got a client after a month of silence! Literally gave me money to eat for the rest of the month.
Crazy enough but my mom randomly gave me 200 dollars after I reblogged one of these the other dayâŠ
Reblobbed.
I have a theory that these posts actually gather energy from the wishes of people who reblog them and thatâs why they work. Plus, yanno, they get passed around by witchesâŠa lot. :)
Financials are getting a little rocky here (new job was a pay cut and was supposed to be an hours increase but ended up being more of a cut/lateral move) and Iâm still trying to figure out how to downgrade my spending (seriously how can I cancel some of my cable services and end up paying MORE than before fucking packages fucking VerizonâŠ) so in the meantime I could really go for a cash infusion until I get myself sorted.
Ok this is such a ridiculous coincidence but I JUST reblogged this this morning and between then and now my tax refund hit my account 3 days early. Draw your own conclusions.

His smile didnât even flinch and he chuckled with the humor of one with plans all their own. âI would be far from surprised. Do remember though to keep me informed; wouldnât want anything to go wrong and have everything fall to you alone after all.â
Astor then corrected his chessboard with utter ease and grace, gently placing the black queen back in her rightful spot on the board. âMaybe next time you come by we can have a proper game of chess; I find it does wonders for the nerves.â
Her grin settled into a more relaxed defiant smirk. âIâll tell you what I feel like. Believe it or not, Astor, I do like having some privacy. A shock, Iâm sure.â She would have to keep her cards close to her chest. While he was an excellent business partner, Katina would sooner trust him with a dagger and her back turned than tell him her plans.Â
âPerhaps I will. Itâs been a while since I played.â Of course, she had a feeling that he would utterly crush her. It was something he was always doing, but perhaps humoring him would make him privy to reveal something. Always thinking two steps ahead, this one.Â
As she left, she paused at the door. âOh, and one more thing, AstorâŠdo tread lightly? I am sure this is nothing new, but itâs worth saying.â With that, she left, closing the heavy oaken door to his office.Â
âIâm sure you do my dear; Iâd be careful though. I am certain there are those who would be greatly displeased if they were to find out you decided to do something reckless or worse yet something traitorous like manipulate a dangerous weapon to your own designs,â Astor said nonchalant and calm as could be. But the words were clear; her plans no matter what she thought were not private, not where Rangers were concerned. Astor had put forth the Initiative and Astor ultimately controlled how the Power Rangers and their allies were handled.
âI look forward to a game with you then,â he spoke cheerfully and at her final warning he simply continued to smile, âI would say the same to you; do be careful not to get yourself entangled in anything too dangerous.â
thechessmastor:
Astor watched her, very carefully, and very interested. There were so few among the Senate and House that he actually had much interest in communicating with, people were so often too easy to ply with the right words, his playful smile, his gentle appearance. Katina though, Katina was different and that far from escaped his notice. He did not think her quite at his same level, not the spider at the center of a massive web, knowing every vibration, controlling every link, but he did not entirely convince himself that she was anything less than someone to certainly keep an eye on. It was that that made her so interesting to him.
He didnât respond at all as a few of his chess pieces fell, as she lifted and slammed the queen back down, eyes staying on her as he hummed, as if in thought. âYou are probably correct. We wouldnât want to upset a potential ally then.â
His eyes practically sparkled at the way she grinned, and while hers was acidic, his was sweet, innocent, the kind that often disarmed but held just the tiniest edge of ice; he placed the knight down again and nodded. âIt sounds like you may have an idea then, Katina. I suppose I can trust you to act upon it?â Of course he would make sure no matter what she might have else planned to have a counter just in case; trust was just a word after all.
Katina turned her back to Astor again. She was already planning on leaving. Sheâd had her idea- such a delecious, wonderful idea- and wasnât intending to gab back and forth any more than she had to.Â
Knocking over those chess pieces had definitely helped take the edge off of things. Yes, things were going to go her way. Drakkon was still weak after recent events. All itâd take was to bring him back in, and justâŠdo a bit of talking.Â
A suggestion hereâŠ.a change of loyalty there. Who would it hurt? Looking over her shoulder, her favorite grin played out upon her features once more.
âAct upon it?â She asked. âWhoâs to say I already havenât, hm?âÂ
His smile didnât even flinch and he chuckled with the humor of one with plans all their own. âI would be far from surprised. Do remember though to keep me informed; wouldnât want anything to go wrong and have everything fall to you alone after all.â
Astor then corrected his chessboard with utter ease and grace, gently placing the black queen back in her rightful spot on the board. âMaybe next time you come by we can have a proper game of chess; I find it does wonders for the nerves.â
bewarethewolfarmy:
âThis is true.â He knew it, she knew it; Drakkon could be a very powerful tool, more powerful than anything else in their arsenal. The military, the army and navy and air force, they paled in comparison to the strength of a single veteran Ranger; of course they had a few of their own on their side, ones lured by sweet words or better yet the beautiful innocence of the concept of âdutyâ. But Drakkon was something far more than that, he wasnât just a Ranger; he was a monster, he was the twisted form of one of their best, and a beast with a mind. To use him as a weapon was all well and good but they did need to be careful in case his fangs turned on them.
As he tended to, Astor played with a chess piece in his hands, a knight. The knight Lord Drakkon, Ritaâs little pet turned a would-be god among Rangers. He hummed, he thought, and he kept his playful smile on his face as naturally as possible. âA hunter indeed. But what kind would be best to use against such a predator? Should we use truth or white lies to our advantage in enticing our would-be ally to our side?â
Then, it struck her:
Give the monster the tribute it demands. More Ranger powers.Â
But that was akin to pouring gasoline on a fire. It was true, there were a few Rangers they had in captivity, But just handing them over would be foolish. They had to be bait. But Drakkon wouldnât bite on any bait. He had armies- no, legions. What would one mere offering be to a god?Â
No. They needed control. Her thoughts trailed back to her proposals for the capture teams. Shock nets. The like. That was too crude- like thrusting a mere iron sword into a dragonâs hide. NoâŠ.something more direct.Â
Shaking her head, Katina turned around, arms crossed. She eyed the chess piece Astor was fiddling with. Him and that damn board. Every time she saw it, the urge to torch it just grew stronger.Â
âItâs too early for a direct decision. Too volatile. Too rabid. Too unstable. He needs to be sedated and kept in line. Is the Ranger Initiative a money pit? Hardly. Even reaching into the deepest coffers wouldnât produce something capable of containing him.â She frowns. Thatâs all Drakkon was. An animal. Driven by baser instincts like revenge.Â
But, how exactly was that different from her? Hatred sprouted from lava floods caused by the privatized buffoons in San Angeles. Hartford and his ilk were the ones she most wanted to drag down the most. Seizure of his assets, freezing his accountsâŠ.
The idea was pleasurable. Something she craved. It would make all too good a weapon in the presses. Private Ranger army created by wealthy archaeologist. It would take merely a push.
But that was a different matter.Â
âWords alone wonât convince the brute to comply.â Going over to the board, she snatched the black queen piece, eyeing it. Looking back to Astor, Katina scowled. âNo, empty promises or lip service will just try his patience.â Slamming the queen piece back down the board (which caused a few to fall over), she merely smiled. That felt nice.Â
âHoweverâŠ.who said anything about speaking to him directly? Miss Sterling helped contain him once. A fewâŠ.âÂ
The smile spread into that grin. That acidic, deathly grin of hers- it spelled trouble. ââŠ.suggestions, and perhaps heâd bow easier.â Yes. Using suggestion to replace his undying loyalty to Rita with herâŠthen for sure, she would have a powerful weapon to do whatsoever she desired.Â
Astor watched her, very carefully, and very interested. There were so few among the Senate and House that he actually had much interest in communicating with, people were so often too easy to ply with the right words, his playful smile, his gentle appearance. Katina though, Katina was different and that far from escaped his notice.
