A year ago, I was in an absolutely loveless and borderline (being generous) abus*ve relationship, I had no idea why I was so unhappy, I settled for being a wife and a bother and having a roof over my head.

Today, I’m back in my career that I love and SUCCESSFUL! I’ve embraced my they/themness and have started t, am getting top surgery and all my friends respect my orientation and uplift me in my journey.

I’m rocking it out with my kid, we’re best friends. There are hard days, but I can show up for them exactly the way they need.

I’ve rediscovered my hobbies, I enjoy my free time. It’s still a long road to recovery after years of childhood narcissistic abuse and then the last like 10 years of relationships mirroring that, every day I have to un-gaslight myself.

But we’re here. And I’m making it. And I’m fucking happy.
