i don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re trans, taking testosterone will NOT “turn you gay”. i have seen so many young transmascs scared of starting T bc they’re afraid they’ll lose attraction to their girlfriends/girls in general, and I’m here to tell you that testosterone doesn’t do that.

i think this myth comes from the fact that some trans people have said that their sexuality changed on T and they found that they no longer are attracted to women, but this is caused by people starting to see you as your real gender and feeling more comfortable in your body, not the hormones itself. i know more people on t who are attracted to multiple genders or only women than i know people on t exclusively attracted to men.
