I’ve realized the things that cause the most Peggy hate are:

- Steve going back in time in Endgame and people then blaming Peggy for that (????? she didn’t MAKE him go back in time, blame the writers if you don’t like that choice)

- people shipping Steve with other characters (mostly male characters) and then people getting upset that peggy is “in the way”??? (this is INCREDIBLY common to see with mlm ships, unfortunately)

- The timeline in ca:tfa not being emphasized as much as it could’ve been. people forget that ca:tfa is set over the course of like 3 YEARS. They spent 3 YEARS TOGETHER. That’s dedication and slow burn

- People getting sick of seeing Peggy used as a throw away character (Namely whenever she’s portrayed as Captain Carter. MoM and What If irreversibly changed her image and how people see her as a character)

- Deeply rooted misogyny in superhero media (We’ve seen it for far too long and honestly I’m sick of it)
