WIP Wednesday Thursday - 6.4.26
Started drawing a brand new OC on a whim. It’s been awhile since I last made a new one. Sorry for posting a day late, was feeling awful yesterday. Spent most of the day curled up in bed watching Sailor Moon. My job has me scheduled to work the next 7 days in a row, hopefully I won’t be too tired to keep drawing this week.
Thinking about naming him Gideon? Idk naming people and places ain’t my strong point.
What’s the deal with the ads, I swear majority of the time I somehow accidentally open them when attempting to scroll past them. Really annoying.
Character sheet for my OC Marcus!
Him and his brother were abandoned at a young age and were later taken in by a wizard named Leon. Marcus sees Leon as his actual dad but his brother Damien was too full of resentment about their situation to accept Leon and eventually ran away. Marcus is half human but no one really knows what the other half is. People around him frequently think he's a demon and avoid him.
He often visits Amaya's shop when running errands for Leon. Marcus and Amaya have common interests such as gardening and magic history, so they've grown pretty close. He's developed a crush on her but doesn't quite realize it just yet.
2nd image was the outfit sketches I made when redesigning him. Outfit 1 was his og design, outfit 2 is his new look, and outfit 3 was just a fun what if idea.

Almost done with this piece! Finally drew her hands lol and set the base colors. Just need to render and add plants now 😊

Currently marathoning the Resident Evil series in chronological order. Wanted to do something to celebrate after I finish each game. Was just planning on quick sketches but I got carried away so now I think I’ll make stickers, I don’t know.
I feel like Resi 0 is one of those you either hate or you like it entries. It follows the formula of the older games but also experiments with new things that don’t always hit. Like you can drop things wherever (great) but to balance it we got rid of the item boxes (not great). Kudos to them for trying things tho.
Personally I think it’s a rough entry but I still enjoy it. I love the campy/cheesy nature of Resi, especially in the older games.

Today I accidentally dropped and broke a candle. The scent name was “Oopsy Daisy”. Sometimes the jokes really do write themselves

Today’s WIP Wednesday is Amaya focused. Work left me drained last week so I unfortunately hadn’t made as much progress as I would’ve liked in my other drawings but that’s okay. Did start another drawing of Amaya tho, like I really needed more in progress drawings lol. Always happy to be drawing my favorite OC 🥰
1st image: I got started on the background and I’m almost done with Amaya’s line art. Just need to draw those pesky hands! So far this is shaping up to be my new fave drawing of her, she’s so cute when she’s happy. 🥺

I colored in my Princess Peach sketch that I made for my coworker. Really happy with how this one turned out!
A coworker mistook one of my bored at work OC doodles for Princess Peach so I thought it’d be funny to actually draw Princess Peach for her lol.
I made a blue ball point pen brush so I could recreate the same feeling as my work doodles. My coworker was very excited to find the drawing in her locker!
Playing Silent Hill f a little while back got me in the mood to draw some Silent Hill fanart. Started with Heather since she’s my fave but I’d love to draw Hinako sometime too
Character sheet for my main oc, Amaya. Cleaned up the drawing from the outfit sketches I did for her.
She is a nature witch so she’s naturally good with plants however she will deny being magical due to her upbringing. Basically she’s always known she’s a witch but she’s had to ignore/deny that part of her for so long that she doesn’t feel comfortable admitting she is. She’s friendly and outgoing but doesn’t feel like she can truly be herself. Despite denying her true self, she is very curious about magic and seeks out information when she feels safe to do so.
Amaya operates a greenhouse/shop where she cultivates plants and sells flowers and herbs. Her friendly nature makes her well liked by her customers. 💚🌷
