Toxic relationship with the dentist
First time I went to the dentist I was nine. She was blonde, nice, and her mouth stank like cavities. She did a root canal on me, I don’t remember needles or pain, but in the beginning she said my insurance would cover everything, and ended up asking for money after the tooth was finished, so my mom got angry and we never returned.
My second dentist was a guy with a cheap looking office. He pulled some of my milk teeth but left broken roots inside. He ended up deserting his office and running away for some reason. I don’t remember needles or pain, just a mild feeling of uneasiness, my mom liked him.
My third dentist was this woman with the same name as my sister. She pulled the leftover roots, was shocked hearing I got anesthesia shots at such a young age. The following week she gave me anesthesia shots and performed a root canal. I had her for approximately 12 years and she filled 8 new teeth in this time. When I was 19 I went to get another filling. Under anesthesia, she drilled into said tooth, plus a mind molar we never talked about fixing, which I noticed later while checking into the mirror, my tooth was filled but the black spot of cavity was still there!!! I checked my other teeth and they all had these carefully avoided areas with spots so the cavity can keep worsening!! And I never noticed! She also told me that absolutely all remaining teeth I had needed fillings. I FUCKING LEFT. My mom liked her.
My fourth dentist is this young pretty newbie. She took pictures of my mouth and pampered me. I paid. She cleaned my teeth. I paid. She drilled my mind molar and didn’t use temporary filling. After a week she used anesthesia, drilled, it hurt, she used another shot of anesthesia, I could still feel pain, she gave me ANOTHER shot, my eye was numb, my ear was clogged, decided her shift is done, made me pay for a temporary filling the price of a permanent one, made me sign a contract saying I agree to all procedures, and happily advising me to not bite my cheek she sent me home. I also learned I’m a terrible patient for being too stressed and needing anesthesia, and she can’t work with someone like me. No worries bitch you never will have to. Have you found your soulmate toothfairy yet? I have disqus enabled if you wanna comment, or find another way idk Bye
the essence hand cream is the first I tried that doesn’t turn my hands sweaty. It has coconut and cocoa butter and smells delicious.
Please consult your doctor before using this cream on your face, this is prescription medicine, not a cosmetic!!! I was prescribed this for acne caused by PCOS, but you could have a whole different condition.
First day of usage
My dermatologist said I had acne and dumped this baby in my arms. I wouldn’t really call it “acne” but oh, well. Tried this last night and it seems to have dried them 2 pimples a bit, i’ll just use it as a spot treatment.
1 week UPDATE
I didn’t know how bad my skin was until it cleared up. Honestly I tought my pimples were normal to have, plus I was used to them and my skin didn’t look like a horror acne photo you can find on google, I had mostly very little bumps that were skin colored, and some occasional monster pimple that won’t go away for the next 4 months. This treatment cleaned my face pretty nicely in just a week, but I still have 5 weeks to go of my treatment.
I am so, so happy to have met the person who inspired me to start my own Youtube Channel, @itsbubz !
6 years ago a friend of mine posted a video from her comedy channel. I thought she was an interesting girl and I found her main channel, bubzbeauty! Since then I was hooked onto her videos. I didn’t know much about makeup at all and her videos really got me interested in makeup.
When I met her, she was SO sweet and nice! I was so happy to have met the person who inspired me to start making videos I actually cried! When we went shopping together she kept trying to pay for my things! haha. She was like my big sister, when I was really nervous about my makeup show she would give me words of encouragement. She always looked out for me when I didn’t feel well and in general was always looking out for everyone!
Thank you so much Lindy unnie for being such a beautiful person! I’m so so happy that I got to spend so much time with you and I hope to see you again soon! #southkorea #Seoul #korea #bubzbeauty #beautyweek2015

Who’s Alex?
Billboard demonstrating gender stereotypes as most people automatically assume that Alex is the boy.
Yes, because visually all signs point to the boy, he is the centerpoint of the image and his hand points to the name. Then they shoved that second character in a corner and we’re supposed to assume it’s a girl? Why? Because it’s wearing a top and has long hair? This entire poster is sexist and misleading, we are not assuming any of them is alex, we are shown alex is the central character then made to think we are horrible people for believing that. I am an artist, if you’re curious to know how I dare to ruin your petty campaign, and I am a woman and I will take this poster as an offense.

My 10th day nails with Essence the Gel Base and the Gel Top coat. Can you see the growth of my nail, gross right? The magenta color is O.P.I no. 35 and the dark tips are O.P.I 27 both from the Gwen Stefani collection.
NOT for my age: baby products I love
From left to right:
1.Johnsons baby shampoo
is a staple in many homes including mine, a very gentle basic shampoo that leaves hair baby-smooth so that I don’t even need a conditioner, leaves it tangle free too. They have big bottles to serve the whole family and the lavender one is my favourite scent in the entire world (try the bed time foam wash and the lotion too).
2. Talc powder or, how I call it, dry shampoo; the Dalin one smells like roses and makes you look fresh out of the shower.
3. Baby soap leaves your skin smelling like milk and this Nivea one is pretty gentle even for intimate use.
4. This shower gel is from a new Johnson’s Baby non-irritating line and I love it, so smooth and moisturising and smells delicious
this is so up to date and useful I can’t even!
NATURAL HEALTHY DEODORANTS
Back when I was a tiny teen I used the strong deodorants specifically marketed to nymphs(lady speed stick teen spray…something). They used to leave this thick layer of product on my skin, that sweat still was able to break through in considerable amounts due to the constant social anxiety I was experiencing in school.
When I was 16 I found out how dangerous the strong scent and aluminum was not good at all for my health, after I just got a new pair of boobs I wasn’t willing to let them go that easily. This is what I experimented with since then and my results:
Baking soda It didn’t make any difference, I started stinking right away
Coconut oil They say it has antibacterial properties but honestly I don’t buy it, it’s also used in alot of deodorant diy recipes. I stank just the same.
Propolis Yes, i tried this too. It worked for a while, it is an antibacterial resin collected by bees from trees. Until i realised it completely ruins the fabric, nope.
Lemon juice I quite liked this, i don’t remember why I stopped using it but you can definitely give it a try.
Alum stone This is the one i stuck to in the end. Just be sure it says Potassium Alum for the one extracted from nature, the other kind is man made. You basically rub it under your arms until they feel screechy (20 rubs maybe more). I like to wet it with rosewater for more anti-bacterial properties. It lets your skin breathe and sweat but kills surface germs. Fortunately with age I tempered my anxiety and don’t sweat that much anymore so the alum is a great option for keeping odors away for about 6-8 hours while I’m out and about.
Water and soap Don’t forget to wash your armpits every morning, this is probably the best deodorant and no 48-hour protection product is an excuse to not wash yourself.
How to fix your sleeping schedule
I’m a chronic night owl, but the next day I wake up at 2-3 p.m NOT wanting to wake up and more tired than ever. Even if I slip from it from time to time myself, here’s some tips for creating a healthy biorithm.
1. If your schedule is really messed up and you eat breakfast while your family has dinner, try setting your phone alarm a bit earlier every day (I went with one hour), it’s a slow method but you have to be gentle with your body and give it patience.
2. No devices before sleep. They emit blue light that tricks your brain into believing it is day and wake time. There are apps that filter said light if you have no other choice, but I ruled devices out completely before bed (i still use my kindle paperwhite tho, nothing like reading under the blankets without needing a flashlight :P).
3. Read before sleep, especially if it’s slightly boring haha. Reading induces a state of peace and relaxation that eases you into sleep. An audio book is the strongest sedative for me.
4. This is probably the most important, be in bed before midnight. This is the hour at which our brain gets most rest, we are wired deep within to be already sleeping at this hour, regardless of our artificial schedules. I prefer being in bed at 11:00 or 11:30 p.m, then I have time to read until I get drowsy. It’s prefferable to still shut down the lights and lay in bed by that time even if you dont feel sleepy, you have to tell your body it is time to sleep, YOURE THE BOSS.
Other things to try:
try having a mild workout schedule (i do low impact cardio and yoga when I wake up)
let go of the worries and toughts that might be keeping you awake, try to express your feelings through art and writing and let things go.
do not eat before bed, have your last meal before 8 p.m
during the day make sure to air the room and make the bed
