these include

“roy is short for roymond, like raymond.” “no, roy is short for royim, like goyim.” “no roy is short for roy fish, like a koi fish.” “no, roy is short for roybean, like soybean.”

and then hawkeye hears them and they’re like! shit! we’re gonna get in trouble!!!!! but hawkeye comes over and she’s like “do you want to know what roy’s really short for?” and they’re like uh yeah duh and she says, “roy is short for royginald, like reginald” and they’re omg really? because hawkeye is a trustworthy person and she’s like yup i swear.
