based on tucker and dale vs. evil i'd recommend the final girls (2015), behind the mask: the rise of leslie vernon (2006), the cabin in the woods (2011), scream (1996), the blackening (2022), bodies bodies bodies (2022) and zombieland (2009) because they're all fun self-aware/meta horror comedies.
based on saw i'd recommend my little eye (2002), cube (1997) and dread (2009) because they're all about being stuck in a trap/experiment with peak 2000s vibes/editing.
based on the collection i'd recommend haunt (2019), you're next (2011), house of wax (2005), thanksgiving (2023) and hatchet (2006) based on their crazy kills.
based on hereditary i'd recommend the dark and the wicked (2020), his house (2020), marrowbone (2017), oculus (2013), the lodge (2019), a dark song (2016), lake mungo (2008), the babadook (2014), the others (2001) and the orphanage (2007) because they're all haunting family tragedies about loss/grief.
based on the ritual i'd recommend it comes at night (2017), the witch (2015), the blair witch project (1999), the descent (2005), the strangers (2008), honeymoon (2014) and the ruins (2008) (kind of trash but i love it and the gore is good) because they’re all about people being watched by something in an isolated place.
