Do The Men In Black Prove That Alien Life Exists?

There are three types of people in this world. Those who don’t believe in alien life, those who do believe in alien life, and those who research alien life. Anyone who falls into the third category seem to be the ones at risk of being visited by the ‘Men In Black’, or ‘MIB’ for short. They are known to travel in groups of two or three, have extremely pale skin, and wear all black suits, ties, hats, sunglasses, and shoes. People who have been visited by the Men In Black say that their voices sound more like robots than humans. The Men In Black claim to be government agents, but U.S. intelligence agencies have confirmed they have no link with the MIB. So, who are they, and what do they do? Nobody can actually tell whether the stories are true or not - mostly because the stories that are told is so unbelievable, and there is no physical pieces evidence. Except for this curious image where two men - identical to how the MIB have been described - are caught on a security camera. 

One of the first known time that a human was approached by the Men In Black was in 1947 after a man named Harold Dahl saw “flying doughnut-shaped objects”. Shorty after the sighting, Harold Dhal was warned, by two men who were dressed in all black, to never speak of what he experienced. Another, more detailed, case came up in 1976 when a psychiatrist named Dr. Herbert Hopkins had a terrifying encounter with one of the Men In Black. Hopkins was treating a person who claimed to had been abducted by aliens, at the time. This caused him to gather some useful information regarding alien life. "I was alone in the house. The telephone rang and the voice on the other end identified itself as a member of a New Jersey UFO research organisation. I agreed that he could talk with me about the abduction case,” says Dr. Hopkins. The next thing he knew, he was startled by a man who was already walking up his stairs - not even a knock at the door. He described the man to have no eyebrows, or eyelashes, he had a small nose that “came down to just above the upper lip”, and had bright red lips. He then went on to say that “[the man] was wearing gloves. They looked like grey suede. He brushed his lips with the glove, and when he put his hand down the back of his glove was bright red. I said to myself; 'This guy is wearing lipstick.' Then I could see that his mouth was perfectly straight. He did not have what we call lips, so the lipstick was there as some sort of decoy.” Dr. Hopkins was, once again, startled when the man said that there were two coins in Dr. Hopkins pocket. How could he possibly know that? When Dr. Hopkins removed the coins from his pocket, the man make them vanish in a cloud of blue light. The man then proceeded to ask Dr. Hopkins to destroy all evidence he had of UFO’s and alien life. The man told Dr. Hopkins that if he didn’t complete the request, he would “suffer the same fate as Barney Hill”, who mysteriously passed away. For Hopkins, the nightmare was over when they man stated that his energy was running low, went downstairs, and vanished into a bright light. Keep in mind that these are just a few of possibly hundreds of MIB cases reported. This is extreme, non-human behaviour. It’s not only people who have proof of aliens that the MIB have approached though. There are reports of Men In Black visits to people who claim to have seen 'monsters of the Loch' in Loch Ness, Scotland. Also, there are cases where people using Ouija boards have had encounters with the Men In Black. It seems that the MIB’s only aim is to make sure there is no proof of alien life, or any other mythical stories, being real. Do the Men In Black prove that alien life exists? Well, considering the actions of the men, and if the stories are true - then, probably.

Did Adolf Hitler Fake His Suicide?

Adolf Hitler. Aged 56. Leader of the Nazi party during World War II. Paranoid that he would be captured by his enemies. He, and his wife Eva, committed suicide in their underground bunker in Berlin, on April 30th, 1945. But, it’s possible that neither of the two died on that day. In fact, the dead bodies of Adolf and Eva, were found to be murdered look-a-likes. It is believed that throughout the war, Nazis gradually escaped to other countries - South American countries in particular. It is possible that Hitler and his wife did the exact same thing. Hitler left behind plans for himself and his wife to be cremated. Nazi’s say they saw the two corpses, and followed the instructions. This could have all been part of a cover up. All that was left Hitler was part of his jaw, and a skull fragment of which a bullet hole is seen in. 

These were sent to Russia. When Russia finally let the skull be tested, it was found that the it belonged to a woman under the age of 40. The jaw was confirmed to be Hitler’s through his dental records, but there is no physical evidence of this. So, is this enough to believe that Hitler escaped Germany? Many people believe that Adolf and Eva took a submarine to Argentina, and eventually settled down in a small town called Nossa Senhora do Livramento in the state of Mato Grosso, in Brazil. Although people who claim to have seen Hitler in these areas didn’t have any proof to provide, there are FBI documents to support the sightings. These were top secret documents at that time. They say that FBI were actually helping cover up the fact that Hitler was in Argentina. The fact that leads us to believing this, is that when people reported they had seen Hitler around, the FBI didn’t conduct any investigation. A local Brazilian says that the town had nicknamed Hitler the ‘Old German’. But, he didn’t go by the name of Adolf Hitler. Adolf Leipzig is believed to have died at age 95, in 1984.

Did The 'Chronovisor' Ever Exist?

The Chronovisor is a television-like machine designed to produce audio and videos from the past and future. It’s basically a time machine without the human teleportation. The machine, built in the 1950’s, was created by Father Pellegrino Ernetti (a Benedictine monk), and a group of scientists. Ernetti had a degree in quantum physics and had lots of knowledge about how this sort of thing works. So, how did the machine work? Jenny Randles, author of ‘Breaking the Time Barrier: The Race to Build the First Time Machine', explains “it supposedly worked using microwave energy that manipulated the frequency of sound and light waves in order to alter how far back in time images were coming from.” Using the Chronovisor, Ernetti claims to have witnessed the Crucifixion of Jesus, the last supper, the play ‘Thyestes’, plus more major points in history. Ernetti said that, in the hands of the wrong person, the machine has the capability to create “the most fearsome dictatorship the world has ever seen.” Therefore, the machine was taken apart. It was also said that the machine gave nobody privacy due to the fact that it could show any moment and place in time. Although, nobody outside of the mission ever saw the device. This raised a lot of questions about whether the Chronovisor ever existed. As proof, Ernetti produced a range of products. He took a picture of Jesus on the cross. (Image inserted below.) 

But, Cullot Valera claimed this was his work, just flipped around. Ernetti also produced the missing text from the play ‘Thyestes’, which was written around 170BC. Unfortunately for Ernetti, this source of proof was also believed to be false. Katherine Eldred, a translator, analysed the text and suggested that Ernetti wrote it himself rather than producing the real text from the real play. As time passed, Ernetti spoke less and less of the machine. It wasn’t until his death that an anonymous family member came forward with the news that the whole story of the Chronovisor was a lie, and the device never existed. Not long later, Father Brune, who was a close friend of Ernetti, claimed that the confession was a cover up. He says that, somewhere in the Vatican vaults, the Chronovisor still exists.

DID THE TITANIC ACTUALLY SINK???

This article started off being about a lunch menu because… food. Back in September there were reports about a first class lunch menu from the last ever lunch served on the Titanic. The lunch menu was dated April 14th 1912 - Titanic sank at 2:20am the next day, and a first class passenger decided to take a souvenir, the lunch menu, from the Titanic onto a lifeboat with them.  Let’s put it this way, if you think a lunch menu can’t be sold for $88,000, you’re wrong. The 103 year old lunch menu was bought by an anonymous buyer, for $88,000. But did the lunch menu actually come from the Titanic? Yes, it came from the ship that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on April 15th 1912, but was that ship really Titanic? It’s all over the internet.. “DID THE TITANIC REALLY SINK?” The answer, I don’t know - but there is plenty of evidence that suggests it wasn’t Titanic, but it’s almost identical sister ship, Olympic. Apparently, White Star Line, the ship owners, switched the two ships because the Titanic was underinsured, and they couldn’t afford to pay out for the repairs Olympic needed. Ultimately, they decided that instead of fully repairing Olympic they would sink it - and have a rescue ship near by the pick up the passengers. (People don’t believe the collion between the ship and the ice burg was forceful enough to be legitimate.) This was so they could receive full payment from insurance. Unfortunately it didn’t go to plan, and 1,500 people lost their lives. There are also physical differences between the ships, which passengers picked up on. Numerous passengers noticed that there were meant to be cabins where there were promenades. Some passengers even claim that the ship tilted slightly to the left. This also suggests that the ship was actually Olympic, because Olympic tilted slightly to the left due to her previous damages. I decided to do some more research on the differences of the two ships. Turns out, half Titanic’s upper deck was closed - like this

All White Star Line had to do was switch the ship names, because nobody seemed to notice these differences. Also, Olympic had life boats along the entire upper deck - Titanic didn’t have this feature. So, I thought it was only necessary to find a news paper from the Titanic’s maiden voyage. I found a news paper called The Daily Review - which shows a picture of the Titanic before it left it’s dock. But, when I looked closer - it was actually Olympic due to its distinctly different external features. I also noticed that a lot of newspapers from that time featured Olympic, saying it was Titanic. Also, from the pictures of the shipwreck, you can’t tell which ship it actually is. Maybe Titanic was an unsinkable ship, after all.

What if Earth didn't have oxygen for 5 seconds?

What if I told you that if the Earth lost oxygen for only five seconds, there would be, like, no Earth? I mentioned this to numerous people, and each one of them said “but I can hold my breath for five seconds”. It’s really not that simple. We all take oxygen for granted, but it plays a huge role in keeping our planet in shape and without it.. well… 1. Anyone who is outside, and exposed to the sunlight, would become sunburnt straight away. This is because the oxygen in the air protects us against the suns UV rays. 2. There would be no particles in the air to bounce light - the sky would go dark. 3. Metals are kept from welding together with a layer of oxidation. Any metals without this would weld together. 4. Due to the fact that the Earth’s crust is made up of 45% oxygen, it would immediately crumble. 5. We would lose roughly 20% of air pressure meaning that everybody's inner ear would explode. 6. Every building that has been made out of concrete would turn to dust. 7. All the oceans would evaporate. 8. Any running internal combustion engine would immediately stall. 9. Also, the planet would become immensely cold.

So, what would happen if the amount of oxygen doubled? 1. Our paper aeroplanes would fly longer distances. 2. We would get better gas mileage. 3. We would be more alert, and more positive. 4. More oxygen would improve our physical performances. Unfortunately, if this were to happen, Earth would be the home to many giant insects. This is because the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere determines an insects body size. So, there we go - never take oxygen for granted ever again.

Has The Cure For The One Direction Infection Been Found?

It’s nearly been a year since Zayn left One Direction back in March. Since then, One Direction have announced  that they will be going on a “break” as of March 2016. It seems that the boyband are slowly fading away - and fans are beginning to question if they really will ever get back together. So, has the cure been found for the One Direction Infection? Will this break cause fans to fade away with the band? I asked my classmate, and One Direction super fan, Geneve, how she feels about the situation. “To me, the One Direction Infection is just this feeling of over-whelming affection for four - as of March 25th 2015 - boys. I’ve been a fan for five years, dating back to their days on the X-Factor in 2010. Sticking with them for five years has really affected my daily life, in good and bad ways, so the One Direction Infection does mean a lot to me, and I don’t understand how I could live without it,” she said. Is this “break” really going to be the cure for the One Direction Infection? Or, are fans, like Geneve, going to stick by their sides whatever they decide to do? These questions are floating around in everyones minds, wondering what is actually going to happen. Recent reports claim that the four remaining boys travel separately, have separate dressing rooms, and record separately. Apparently, the boys are getting tired of each other. You can understand it though, having spent nearly every moment of the past five years together. Liam Payne even admitted to ‘People Magazine’ that "​I actually don't have any of my bandmates' numbers, which I think is hilarious​. I see them every day, so I don't really need to text them.” ​Also, their manager, and former X-Factor mentor, Simon Cowell says that the band is exhausted and it’s not yet confirmed that the band are going to 100% get back together. Although, there are people who believe they would - just for the money. Whether or not One Direction will get back together, Geneve says, “no, [the cure to the One Direction Infection] most definitely has not [been found].” But, some people think otherwise.

Wait a second... peanut butter glows in the dark?

Imagine this. You get off the couch and make your way to the kitchen to make your supper. You put some bread into the toaster and head over to the pantry to choose a spread for your toast. As you open the pantry door, your peanut butter is glowing so bright you don’t even need to turn the light on. It makes you wonder if the aliens did something to your peanut butter while you weren’t looking, or something. 

  Okay, so that’s not quite how it happens, but yes, peanut butter really does glow in the dark. If you take a fresh jar of peanut butter and shine a violet laser on it, the peanut butter will glow wherever the laser has shined. This what the glow looks like. 

The reaction doesn’t last for long - but it’s long enough to see the glow. It’s not the jar reacting to the light, either. Even when the peanut butter is not in the jar, the reaction still occurs. This reaction is called ‘delayed fluorescence’ or ‘afterglow’, discovered in 1950, by William Arnold and Bernard Strehler. Peanut butter contains natural compounds called phenols, which absorb light. This can be found in other nuts as well. This reaction occurs particularly well on peanut butter because of the way the peanuts are processed and crushed. Heating, and crushing nuts allows more of a reaction because the larger compounds have broken down into their components. Frozen peanut butter enhances the glowing effect, as well.   You may think is is strange. You may even find it amazing. Would you believe me if I told you that scientists once made diamonds out of peanut butter? You never would’ve thought...

How On Earth Does This Volcano Have Blue Lava?

There is a quote that goes like this. “The grass may not be softer later, and it may be brown tomorrow, but at least it’s not lava.” And you better hope it’s not blue lava, and heres why. Before you think, ‘oh cool, blue lava,’ you need to know that the lava itself is not actually blue. In the Ijen Volcano Complex in Indonesia, there is a volcano called Kawah Ijen. It’s not your regular volcano. Mic.com says that Kawah Ijen is the biggest "acidic volcanic crater lake" in the world. Anyone who has experienced this magical place at night can tell you they felt like they were on a completely different planet. During the day, the lava is the typical orange colour we all know it to be. When the sun goes down, the blazing blue flames become visible. It’s not a trick of the eye. The lava this volcano produces is originally orange. The amazing effect is caused by sulphuric gases which emerge out of the volcano. When the gas is exposed to oxygen and sparked by the lava, the sulphur burns bright blue flames. “Blue lava” can exceed 600ºC. It’s like when you’re doing a lab experiment in high school, and your teacher always warned you of the blue flame because its hotter than the orange flame.

KANYE WEST FOR PRESIDENT????

I know what you’re thinking... “KANYE WEST IS GOING FOR PRESIDENT? IS HE SERIOUS?” We’re all thinking it. Kim Kardashian West would be the First Lady,*gasp*. Rapper, Kanye West, recently confirmed that he will be running for president in the 2020 election - but is he being serious about it? The first time Kanye mentioned this sudden and out-of-the-blue decision of his, was during his acceptance speech at the MTV VMA’s on August 30th. 

I thought that he might’ve said that just because he had nothing else to say.  “I don’t know what I’m gonna lose after this. It don’t matter, though; It’s not about me. It’s about ideas. New Ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in the truth. And yes, as you probably could’ve guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.” The night after the big announcement, the Democratic Party’s official twitter tweeted "Last night @kanyewest declared his candidacy for president in 2020. Welcome to the race, Mr. West. Glad to have you.” Also, Kim says “he’s serious. And I know that if he puts his mind to something, he’ll do his best.” The thirty-eight year old admitted that, "I hate politics. I’m not a politician at all. I care about the truth and I just care about human beings.” His announcement comes nearly ten years after he made a comment about President George Bush, during a fund raiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, live on TV - saying that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” You can watch the video here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIUzLpO1kxI. But back to the topic of him going for president himself, Kanye says “I want everyone to win. When I run for president, I’d prefer not to run against someone. I would be like ‘I want to work with you.’” he continued. “I sit in clubs and I’m like, Wow, I’ve got five years before I go and run for office and I’ve got a lot of research to do, I’ve got a lot of growing up to do.” A poll on Hollywoodlife.com shows that about 73% of voters on the site said no to Kanye being president. Whereas 27% said they would like Kanye to be President of the United States. After all, a similar event has occurred before. Ronald Reagan was an actor who became a the 40th President of the United States. But don’t worry - if you don’t want Kanye West as the President of the United States of America, there’s always Donald Trump.

Is The Planet Going To Go Into 15 Days Of Darkness?

Earlier this week I was casually scrolling through Facebook, when I came across an article about an upcoming blackout. Apparently, NASA had confirmed that our planet will be in complete darkness between November 15th and 29th. I clicked the link, wanting to know more. And as I read into the article I thought to myself, 'is this even possible, can this actually happen?’ So, I decided to do some research. According to NASA, this event hasn’t happened in over one million years. Really? The November Blackout will be caused by “another astronomical event between Venus and Jupiter,” says Newswatch33.com. An article on Quicksiv.com tells us that "Venus and Jupiter will engaged in a close parallelism, only being separated by 1 degree. Venus will pass to the South-west of Jupiter, causing Venus to shine 10 times brighter than Jupiter. The light from Venus will heat up the gases on Jupiter causing a reaction.” Sources say an unpredictable amount of hydrogen will be discharged into space, due to the reaction. When the hydrogen gas eventually makes contact with the sun, an explosion will occur on the suns surface, forcing the sun to immediately increase from 5700 to 9000 degrees Kelvin (Standard International unit of thermodynamic temperature.) This will cause the sun to emit heat from the core, which will cause the sun to change to a dim blue colour. The sun will take roughly 15 days to return back to it’s regular colour, and temperature - hence the 15 Day Of Darkness. Officials have said that former astronaut and current Administrator of NASA, Charles Bolden, reportedly supplied the White House with a 1000 page document explaining the upcoming event. Mind blowing information, I know - but as crazy as the story seems, do you believe it? After more research, I discovered that this story isn’t even on the NASA website, so why is it everywhere else? Newswatch33.com is a website that posts fake stories - this one just happened to go viral.
