The relationship between Charlie and Alastor in future seasons.

Erika Hennessen said in an interview that there is a strange but strong relationship of trust between Charlie and Alastor.

Even though Charlie doesn't always understand his motives and actions, she still feels she can trust him because he has always been there when needed.

According to Erika, there is something like "paternal protection" in their dynamic. Charlie seems to think, "I don't understand you... but you probably have your reasons for acting this way."

Now, getting personal. Charlastor will always be my favorite non-canon ship, but I'm happy as long as Charlie and Alastor are friends in the show. I'm not asking for the impossible from Medrano, nor do I expect him to make them a couple. I already love their dynamic just the way it is.

Is fucking ugly. The original Ace flag and it's variants are fine at encompassing all aspects of the Ace identity. This is a glaring mess that wants to be seen as 'pretty' and #Aesthetic more than anything.

And that's not just me saying that, the main article that I read defending the 'new' flag popped in 'the original flag was boring~' and 'this is so much prettier~' every other paragraph.

And the defense of 'oh, we need to rally around this 'new' flag for the black Aces in the world'. No we don't. What we actually need to do is spotlight more black and African Ace voices every year so people can use it as a bridging point for education and discussion.
