Top 5 underrated characters I think deserve more attention than respawn. Also they r slade related bc respawn shoehorned his way into the Wilson family.
1. Carla Morietti, she experienced great childhood trauma but overcame it and became a vigilante in her own right that takes matters into her own hands, no one is written out of character to fit her story and she is an absolute delight to have around.
2. Poprocket, if you want Sladeās desperate need for someone in his life based upon the absence of his child. Poppy fills that role perfectly. Sheās an underutilised goat and has much more interesting than respawn
3. Tanya spears, Tanya is completely underrated and if we want to talk big shoes to fill then look no further than the second power girl. She was manipulated by slade completely and she fit the role of his daughter that he was looking to fill. They both gained from each other but it was of course much more detrimental to Tanya. She also has the added element of her faith which could provide an interesting way of looking at what she does with defiance and with Slade. She is supremely underrated.
4. Grant Wilson is, in my opinion, underrated by everyone except for me, slade and my gorgeous wife. There is a lot to Grant that is often brushed over because of how early on he dies. But truly he haunts the narrative so thoroughly itās like he never goes. This tackles the grief aspect of a father losing his first born and what would happen to him, itās a much more realistic depiction than what happens with dark crisis.
HMS: Joey, Tara, and rose are all generally underrated but Iām specifically talking abt characters with less appearance than them.
Halo, I donāt know if we can consider Gabi underrated but if we look at how Brion and Her interact after Taraās death that goes into the āprojecting your dead family member into someoneā that Respawn touches upon but doesnāt go into.
5. In fifth place I have Tilly. Iām not elaborating. I donāt care Iām tired.
Fuck you respawn kill yourself. Die again. I wish you were never born. I hate you. I hate you. And also. I hate you.
