Although she insists that photography is only a hobby, the New Order's latest It Girl displays remarkable talent, capturing in color or black and white the unique beauty of the twenty-something girls she showcases. By turns moody and whimsical, Brigitte Teh's cameos all spark curiosity about the girl:  "who is she and what's her story?"  

She likes to set her shots in lush or desert natural settings, focusing on the simplicity of nature. Brigitte takes inspiration from photographers Megan McIsaac and Molly Steele, who use nature to create real and raw photographs. 

From Sacramento, CA by birth and choice, 21-year-old Brigitte applies her photography talent to her other absorbing interest--baking. Whether you're a foodie or a photophile, check out her food blog at www.brigittenotbardot.blogspot.com and her Instagram account @brieteh.

day and night with No. 198

Bambi & Manson, a London-based denim label, creates one-of-a-kind shorts with styling of either a softer edge (Bambi) or a more grunge appeal (Manson). Girlfriend and boyfriend duo Polly O'Connell and Jim Cubitt created the unique label together.

As their Bambi rep, I am sent a pair of shorts each month for three months. The last pair of shorts I received were these rad plaid shorts! I absolutely adore tartan for this winter season. I have put together a day and a night look for these fun, versatile shorts. The shorts can be custom ordered through "Hand Made to Order."

it girl: chandler

The New Order's latest It Girl is an it girl for the millennial generation. Based in LA, 20-year-old photographer and video editor Chandler Kennedy embodies artistically bent youth, taking inspiration from the online creative scene in which she’s immersed, and the artistic men and women who surround her. She’s a remarkable talent who’s developing her fresh personal vision.

Like many of her peers, Chandler has run the intern and retail route. She’s done the sketchy, hectic retail sales on Broadway. She’s interned in the online editorial field, working at the media company Vice. After KYUR8 featured her photographs in its online magazine, Chandler created online zines for the magazine's free eponymous app, where you can put together your own portfolio from Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and Iphone photos. Most recently, she worked for the New York Art Department in a Bowery gallery called The Hole, alongside her sister, Chris, and the founders of ALIFE, a NYC clothing label.

Emerging from this millennial milieu is Chandler’s unique photographic vision—framed in natural light and shadow, focused on purity, liveliness and wonder, rather than logic, and fascinated by the natural appeal of the young men and women of her generation. We’ll surely see more of Chandler—and of ourselves.
