Completed 03/06/2014. Handmade - crochet. Took a study break and made this! A scrap-wool "owl" baby beanie to suit newborns (0-3 months). Had a lot of fun making this - though I may shake up the design in the future! Will probably go up on my Etsy tomorrow :3

The finished cushion cover - now with buttons and filled with a cushion.

A gift for a friend of mine. Spelled with love, calm, support, peacefulness and resilience.

Handmade with acrylic wool (K.W has a wool allergy), using crochet hooks sized 5.0mm, 8.0mm and 12.0mm.

Wool Haul - April 2014 I haven't done a wool haul in a while - largely because I've been trying to use up some of my wool collection, rather than buy some. I went on a working holiday two weeks ago, and managed to pick up a couple of balls I really liked. They are all from the Moda Vera range. The Medley range is 100% polyester and the Jester range (which I love the most) is 70% Acrylic and 30% Wool.

Despicable Me inspired beanie Work in Progress 21/04/2014

Been working on this since last night. It’s a ‘Minion’ beanie inspired by the Despicable Me films.

The base for this beanie is alnost complete and should fit infants between 9-12 months. The sides will be able to be rolled or folded to fit.

Hoping I’ll be finshed it by this afternoon. :)

Cushion Cuddle Buddy for K.W Photos taken 21/04/2014 Nearing completion - needs finishing touches

This is a gift I’ve been working on between studying. Its for a friend of mine, whose been having a hard time lately.

It is a hand-made cushion cover, spelled with love, support, calm and resilience.

Her favourite colour is pink, so I incorporated as much of it into the piece as I could.

The front has a lot of different wool types and textures, which gives it its cuddly (if a little strange) pattern and shape.

All wool is acrylic and wool-allergen friendly, particularly because KW has a wool allergy.

Hook sizes included: 5.0mm; 8.0mm; & 12.0mm.

Year of the Horse: Baby Horse Beanies Assorted Colours and Sizes

The first batch of my ‘Year of the Horse’ baby beanies. Most of these hats suit babies from 0-3 months, with the exception of the orange and black, which is the first for 3-6 months. They are all entirely handmade, using acrylic wool.

They are available for purchase from my Etsy store, but are so-far only available for shipping within Australia, or to New Zealand. However, I am willing to negotiate.
