SB Banking Tips

Banking seems to be a common trouble spot sugar babies. I’ll share some of my tips for making cash deposits and what types of accounts are most beneficial for sugar babies.

Info

-The bank is required to automatically flag any deposit over $10,000.

-If you deposit $2,000 five times in one day, you’ll still get flagged.

-Any deposit the bank deems to be suspicious will be flagged.

-You only report interest paid to the IRS if your account is interest bearing. This means, if you have a savings account or an interest bearing checking account, you will accrue interest and must report this on your taxes.

-Most accounts require the owner to have a certain amount of money in the account or a penalty must be paid. Some banks will let you set up alerts to guard against this.

-Any one person may give you a gift of $14,000 per year without having to pay a gift tax.

-The giver of the gift is responsible to pay the gift tax, not the receiver. However, arrangements can be made if necessary.

-If you have cash that you don’t want to deposit, get a safe. A really, really good safe. One that is fire proof, water proof, etc. You don’t want your hard earned money to go to waste.

Tips

-Set up accounts at multiple banks. Banks do not communicate with one another and this allows you to make smaller deposits more frequently.

-Do not deposit the same exact amount each time.

-Mix the deposits. In some cases, I will deposit cash and personal checks not related to sugaring.

-Look like you have money. I always dress nicely, have my makeup done, wear some jewelry. If you are dressed in sweats and UGGs, it may seem a bit suspicious.

-Visit the same branch and make friends with the tellers. Always be polite, chatty, and smile. They will get to know you as a regular customer and trust you. If they know you regularly make larger deposits, they won’t be suspicious.

-Find banks that have ATMs that will immediately deposit your cash. I know newer PNC banks have these ATMs. This allows you to make deposits after hours and no teller is present. These transactions are not flagged unless they exceed the $10,000 limit.

NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER, give you out your bank info EVER, or the answers to the security questions that protect your account.

None of this information is required in order to have someone send you money, all this information will do is allow these “men” to have access to your bank account- aka access to your money. It’s a scam babe.

These gross time wasters try to convince unsuspecting sugar babies that they’re the “real deal” and that they’ll “transfer you money” after you provide that information...when in reality, they’re gaining access to your account and will ultimately transfer your money to their own personal account, robbing you blind with the information you provided them.

With platforms such as Venmo, PayPal, and cash app, there’s no reason to ever give out any bank info. Those apps allow for instant transfers, and all they need is your username to send it to- now that makes more sense!

It’s so frustrating seeing so many sugar babies being taken advantage of, don’t let yourself fall victim! If it sounds sketchy, it is sketchy!

If the person you’re conversing with refuses to take advantage of one of the aforementioned apps, and will only transfer money if you provide your personal bank info, kiss his sorry ass goodbye- no more of your time for this scamming looser!

ANOTHER scam to be aware of is the infamous “gift card” hustle. If any “sugar daddy” asks you to purchase a gift card for him, it’s time to get rid of him too! These scammers try to convince sugar babies they’re “testing them”, “at work” or “traveling” and can’t access their accounts, but magically will have whatever the bullshit issue is fixed after you provide them with a gift card- often times an iTunes gift card, but this can vary.

No REAL sugar daddy will ever ask you to do this.

Let’s all say it together one more time...

NO REAL SUGAR DADDY WILL EVER ASK YOU TO DO THIS.

NEVER.

Never ever.

This is another form of scamming looser looking to get gift cards out of sugar babies who don’t know any better. This scheme has been around FOREVER, and needs to be shutdown in its tracks. A real sugar daddy will never ask you to spend your own money on their behalf, most would be mortified even by the thought of it.

If he says gift card, you say goodbye!!

Why I’m glad I didn’t rush into sugaring

I see so many young girls interested in the bowl, hell I was one of them, but here’s why I’m happy that I didn’t rush into the bowl.

I was about 15 or 16 when I first heard about the sugar bowl and I was immediately intrigued. I had big dreams of luxury clothes and handbags, fancy meals, and large piles of cash given to me by a rich man just for being pretty and spending time with him.

Boy oh boy was I delusional. This lifestyle is not glamourous. Some parts of it are, but it isn’t the majority of the time.

Despite reading and thinking and dreaming about this lifestyle for a few years, I was not ready for the bowl when I entered it. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and how to be successful. I had read that the average monthly allowance was 3k but the normal range was from 1k to 5k.

I thought it would be easy to get money. I thought men would just want to put money in my lap.

Even after I had looked into everything for a couple months and decided to go for it right before my freshman year of college, I got bored and didn’t think about it again until my bank account had less than $100 in it.

Meeting my sugar daddy was a rash decision. The guy that I was seeing had just told me he slept with someone else the same day I made plans to meet up with a POT. I obviously was not thinking straight. I was only thinking about getting some money and making the guy I liked feel like shit like he had made me feel.

Because it was the end of the school year so time was running out and I really wanted to have a sugar daddy at that point, I accepted $300 per meet (please don’t yell at me). Obviously I now know that I should be compensated much more for my time. Whenever a daddy asks how much my previous SDs have paid me, I always tell them 5k BECAUSE then they think that someone else thinks I am worth that much. They also know that’s what I’m accustomed to so they need to be able to provide me with that to keep me happy.

So to all of you young girls interested in the sugar bowl: take it slow, make mistakes, have fun, and never sell yourself short.

Spending Sugar Money

As most experienced sugar babies will know, when first starting off an arrangement, determining how to spend your new windfall allowance is difficult. To assist newbies and other babies in the bowl, check out my strategy below!

Beginning Allowance (when first entering the bowl/a new arrangement):

Save up three months worth of rent (keep in savings for rainy day, continue paying rent out of pocket from vanilla job)

Purchase general necessities (stock up on things like shampoo, toothpaste, other toiletries, etc. also for rainy day; stock up on non-perishable food also or grocery store gift cards)

Pay off all credit card debt (minor debt)

Begin chipping away at Student Loan Debt (major debt)

Percent of what goes where:

50% - student loans (or other large debt you may be carrying.

30% - high yield savings account (I use Capital One 360 because I like the ability to make sub accounts)

10% - personal spending fun (if you’re in a lot of debt you might be tempted to put all your money in savings or paying things off, but be realistic here. You will always want to have a little bit of fun spending money! If you don’t include it in your budget, you will throw your whole budget off)

5% - sugaring necessities (makeup, hair, nails, tanning, lingerie - don’t forget to invest in yourself! This is important!)

5% - house cash (random necessities - food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, bed sheets, etc.)

What does this look like in monthly allowances?

…And so on. You get the idea. It doesn’t matter what kind of allowance you have. It’s still money you didn’t have before! Remember to think of your sugar money as a windfall and put it to good use!

I will never understand the men who make an account on Seeking Arrangement and then put “Not looking for someone who is only focused on money” in their profile. The site literally asks you to put your income and net worth…. you’re on a site looking for a sugar baby? What did you think this was going to be about?

These men want to sit here and text you all day about your favorite sex positions, and ask you if you’re into anal and blow jobs… but the second you bring up the financial aspect they freak out.

Let’s be fucking real here. I’m a young and hot girl, I could find any man to sleep with, I don’t need your old dusty balls. If you want me to give you the life you want (hot girl, good sex, someone to talk to, etc) then give me the life I want (money, luxury, vacations, etc).

IF YOU NEED TO CALL 911 BUT ARE SCARED TO BECAUSE OF SOMEONE IN THE ROOM, dial and ask for a pepperoni pizza. They will ask if you know you’re calling 911. Say yes, and continue pretending you’re making an order. They’ll ask if there’s someone in the room.

I’ve done this. I’m alive because of this.

My flat-mate’s date for the night was almost as drunk as her. She had passed out in her room and locked the door. He refused to leave because he wanted to have sex. He also demanded food because he was dealing with “whiskey dick”. He didn’t like the lack of food in the fridge. I called 911, did the stuff stated above, and he was getting PISSED about how long the “order” was taking. He took my phone, demanded they “hurry the fuck up”. Police arrived two minutes later, arrested him, and helped me file a police report. Pressing charges wasn’t necessary because he had warrants on him from THREE different states for the very thing he planned to do to me. Several months after this happened one of the officers informed me he was charged with two felonies because he crossed stay lines, and will be serving no less than 35 years in prison. The officer ripped into my flat-mate about her bringing home complete strangers, while drunk, knowing full well this shit could happen.

This was 14 years ago.

Do the pizza order, do it as calmly as you can. The dispatcher I spoke to said things like this:

“If he’s drunk say you want mushrooms.” I said I want extra mushrooms.

“If he’s threatening you with sexual assault say you want onions.” I said I want onions.

She went like this with different toppings and sauces for a description of him, like pineapple if he’s blonde, black olives if he’s tall, extra large if he’s tall, etc.

They’ve heard this sort of coded call before. They’re trained for it. They will understand what you’re saying. Order the pizza.
