ya as a guy who has never had to be afraid of male abuse im afraid you don't get a say on why women find men raising their voices to be scary. Deeper vocal tones and louder projection may be a factor, but it's the knowledge that this could be the time you become one of the millions of other women who were victims of abuse that actually makes it scary
lmao, you're delusional. it's a natural thing called the "fight or flight" response. yeah, it's more common for women to be victims of abuse, but do you actually think that that simple fact dictates the entirety of someone's fear based responses? Here's an interesting fact. It fucking doesn't. Not by a longshot. If a lion that attacked women more often than men started roaring at a guy, do you actually think he wouldn't be fearful? Do you think that, because of its tendency to attack women, it becomes less terrifying for anyone else? Well, in case you needed me to tell you, no. Even if it were gauranteed that it ONLY attacks women, only a male that has been repeatedly exposed and conditioned to the lion's refusal to attack men would have the ability to look at an angry lion without fear.I may not be a woman, but as someone who has been yelled and screamed at by larger males repeatedly when I was younger, i can tell you that I ABSOLUTELY have a say in what makes a male voice scary.I'm not arguing that past abuse doesn't add fear to a situation.I'm not arguing that abuse isn't a big issue today.I'm arguing that women are not culturally conditioned to be scared of an ALREADY SCARY situation.
