it's so surreal finally setting down after a system reset. like. the old host is dead. it's a weird sort of grief because there's a part of them inside you still, but that doesn't really help with the fact that every day you see their face in the mirror. when you move through the world, you do it in their body. you're cleaning their room (yours now) and throwing out things that must have been important at some point but you no longer remember. at the dinner table nobody else notices they're gone. their friends are yours now and you have to somehow get to know them again without them realising that they don't know you. all you can do is pick up the mess that your ex-self left behind and try to keep living the life they started. you know?

hi hello tis me!! i have a little question regarding the whole plural community as i honestly havent really ever seen whats going on in it before i started following you.

im curious what being endo and/or willo is? ive found some stuff about it, but theyre not that clear and most are very biased, basically either yelling its all fake and stupid and the people are just roleplaying a disorder or that it is real and good and the people who hate it are excluding like half the community or something...

first off, not an idiot. its good to ask questions

and considering our origins and stance we are going to be somewhat biased but ill try to explain in the most unbiased way possible.

Essentially, the terms "endo" and "willo" are origin terms. Meaning the main reason a system became a system.

Endo/Endogenic is a system origin in which the system formed without trauma, it is an umbrella term.

Willo/Willogenic is a system origin in which the system formed intentionally, by willing headmates/alters into existence.

Many people argue that the only valid origin is traumagenic (a system formed by trauma). We personally do not believe this because of the fact we ourselves are a partially endogenic system and found solace and immense support in the endo/pro-endo community.

I will not say the anti-endo community is inherently harmful or anything but I do believe strongly that they way some anti-endos will exclude and criticize any system regardless of origin for not being a "correct system" does harm if not destroy newly discovered systems especially.

Again this last section is our own beliefs and personal experience.

Getting more replies from sysmeds lately, so we'd just like to say that nothing will change our love for endos, especially not the harassment that we receive.

If you reblog, comment, or send asks/messages with endo hate, you are wasting your time. We're not gonna change our mind, and we'll just block regardless.

Do you see us seeking out anti-endo posts to specifically harass sysmeds, call them names, and whatever else is done to us? No. We can make a safe space without seeking out those who disagree with us to argue with them.
