Is it just me or do you also notice that many cartoons from the 2000s and 2010s start with episodic episodes short stories and jokes all the way and then as the episodes go on an ongoing narrative began unravel and before you notice it the cast of characters now each have their own personal arcs and are on a journey to save the world from a giant calamity made by a secret organization masking itself as a big corporation that is working along with a Lovecraftian entity
