I'm reading a TLOU fanfic (called Aftermath written a long long time ago) and I swear some of the dialogue in TLOU part II has got to be inspired by this fic! And this here is one short example, although they are actually confronting each other. Like I would have loved to see in the game!

So, I just finished I swear the longest fanfic of The Last of Us.

And I feel absolutely empty and sad. Just like when I learned about Joel's death and how ND handled Joel & Ellie's relationship. It made me sick and it made me seek a story where this aftermath of Joel saving Ellie was handled properly. And I found that story. I spent many hours reading it, feeling my heart pump with love for the exquisite writing of the author, for the many new adventures of the pair outside Boston and even after Jackson. It filled that void. But now that I turned the last page, I'm faced with emptiness and the cruel virtual reality that Joel's gone and that they couldn't forgive each other and talk it out.

So yeah.
