My first lift (that I remember) was a couple pens, and I didn’t have a bag so I had to hold them against myself and I pretended I didn’t feel good so I walked out with them between my arm and my stomach lmao

my first was a rimmel london matte lip color! i got it from the grocery store i usually went to and i just slipped it up the sleeve of my jacket. i remember feeling so dangerous and badass and cool for it lmao

my first lift was a packet of winnie the pooh stickers when i was five :’) i was on my dads shoulders and i held them between my hat and his head and i was so terrified when we left because my parents had always told me that when you leave with merchandise the towers go off and the police rush in immediately and thats how i discovered bar codes dont set off alarms

Bubblegum at the bakery with my sister when we were young, it was the only one left in the shelf ! We thought cops were going catch us in our house haha and we were so scared that our grandma took us back to this bakery :’)

Honestly when I was little I would steal pencils from people who bullied me but my first actual lift was with my mom at some department store? I don’t remember the specific one, it was something from the shelves by the checkout, but there was a display in between me and the cashier and I took it and she paid for her stuff and we left? I was terrified and like super young, I just wanted fancy cookies.

My first when I wasn’t like, absolutely tiny was a BB cream from a rite aid after school. I was wearing a giant hoodie and probably super suspicious but hey at least I knew my blind spots.

When I was like three I stole a Bubble Gum Tape. I also used to take any jewelry that had fallen off the rack because I pretended it was fair game. But when I got older and actually lifted with purpose, my first one was a couple prismacolor pencils and paintbrushes from Michael’s for my art class

I love these. the first time I lifted I was CAUGHT ffs. I was 12 with my friend and it was raining and I had wet socks so I found an empty primark bag on the floor and put an umbrella and pair of socks in because I had no money!! I cried like a fucking bitchhh and the police had to take me home. but thinking back we didn’t even leave the store so i don’t even think it was allowed???

The first time I lifted I was like 14 and in biglots (lmao), and just wanted to be EDGY TEEN and i wore wigs at the time bc i wasnt allowed to have colored hair, so i have this softie almay eyeshadow concealed in my sleeve and im running around the store super SUS and go into the bathroom right after concealing (lmao x 2), and shove that shit IN THE BACK OF MY WIG

When I was a freshman in high school I would lift jewelry and earrings from F21 all the time. I couldn’t drive so I always made sure to get something whenever my mom or friends went to the mall.

I was like seven 😂 and in a small department store and I really wanted these bath bead things and I stared at the camera, thinking I wasn’t being sus and I grabbed a handful, put them in my pocket and went back to find my mom. On the way home I kept feeling my pocket and squishing them. (Bad Idea) Later when I got home, I took em out to put em in the freezer (idk why) and they were all squished and melted. Yeah I was weird and had no idea what I was doing. 😂 and I still wore the jeans for the rest of the night. My mom was probably so confused as for why there’s gooey sticky stuff in my pocket. But I was seven so it probably wasn’t that shocking. 😂

can we talk about how i shoved my entire ulta haul into my ugg boots

Ulta shopping bags set off sensors

So my friend and i were in Ulta today and we grabbed 2 bags then proceeded to go to the Too Faced Sweet Peach collection to our left and we were too close to the sensors and the thing started beeping and i hadn’t lifted anything yet we had just got there. So i looked at the front desk lady and she just waved us off and said “it’s just the shopping bag” So just letting ya’ll know the shopping bags they provide to carry around your stuff in the store will set off the sensors so you wouldn't be able to bring it into the bathroom to conceal if any of you were going to do it in the future

Police confronted me

so i'm not sure if you guys know what dumpster diving is, i've never done it. But apparently Ulta throws out samples and a bunch of makeup in their dumpsters out back and my friend told me about it so today we went to ulta and there was this back area and we were just gonna go scope it out to see if the dumpsters were back there (we weren't gonna take anything, just wanted to look around) and right when we walked into the back area (no where did it say it was trespassing) a police car rolled up on my friend and i, SO quick like outta no where i don't know how he saw us that quick, and he rolled down the window and he said "You guys looking for samples from Ulta" and i just played it off saying i needed to call my grandpa and i wanted a quiet area, and i tried to play it off and be like "oh they throw stuff out?" and he said yeah people go dumpster diving and i just said oh yeah that's not what we're doing and he was just like okay and drove away. Like my friend and i weren't doing anything wrong it's not trespassing and dumpster diving in my state isn't illegal so i honestly had no idea why he pulled up on us, obviously what we were doing wasn't illegal since he didn't tell us we couldn't be back there and he just drove away.
