an hour later

kendrick was given a whole make over.

very much unnecessary to be honest.

“I look ….like a fuckin bottom” he mumbles and looks at himself in the mirror.

Kate and Riri laughed loudly at this display.

“I think you look so pretty” Joaquin smiled as he delicately cleans his equipment. Rather a skilled seamstresser.

“Hey! Not my fault you still have no fashion sense” Billy huffs , putting a hand on his hip. Kamala grinned “OH you look great tho” she claps her hands rapidly. She then takes out a Polaroid “say cheese” she warns.

Kendrick stared then busted out two peace signs and a toothed grin.

“That is going in the scrap book” she huffs proudly, fanning the film.

Shuri watches them silent and smiled softly. She was like the silent guy in the chair. It’s been a while since she’s felt the joy of little moments.

Gods knows she forgot to appreciate the small moments she had with her blood family.

Riri glances at Shuri “Charlie seems to be so different….isn’t he?” she asks. She rolled her chair to the other woman and handed her a couple of chips. Shuri nods “yes …but it is only a side effect from his amnesia, it is common” she looks away taking the offer. “His inability to read our minds is what concerns me the most” she explains.

Riri felt a little conflicted and worried, she really hoped Charlie came back to being himself.

“He sure is a helluva lot childish tho, I don’t think I’ve ever heard Charles cuss” Kate hummed

Kendrick glanced over to the two science nerds then looked away silently then at himself “hmm” he felt so girly and soft in this.

“Man I look so swarny, all this height and no guns?” Kendrick hummed as he flexes. “Omegas cant really build muscle silly, but I guess since your kinda part alpha I think you should try it out” Kamala eyes sparkled.

“We can totally spar” Kate comments, she being a very ripped woman herself. She works hard to keep her figure sharp and hard for fights. Diligence is key for her.

“Uh just anime …stuff” Kamala shook her head and brushes the question off. Surely Charles didn’t want to hear about such childish things.

“Cool! Well who do you simp for the most?” He asks tilting his head curiously.

“Uh….well” Kamala stammers, obviously shocked, she didn’t know Charles knew that kind of lingo. Not even Kate

“I personally consider myself a basic bitch and go for the older hot mentors.” He states “like Gojo” he sighed softly.

Kamala blinked then snorts “that is basic” she laughed.

“Indeed it is child, indeed it is” the man grinned as he straightens out “for I am a basic bitch” and that made Kamala laugh.

“What’s going on?” Kendrick asked as he stood as well, he yelps when a blanket goes onto him. As well as a couple of pillows, then a barrier around him. Kamala jumping onto him like he were a couch, Kate readying a bow and arrow. Joaquin laying on Kendrick as well.

Kendrick grunts “you guys….heavy” he wheezed.

They were Scenting the pile as best as they could. Riri rolled her chair to the bigger screen and checked what was up, shuri also checking the other set of security cameras and see if any parts of her barrier were tampered with.

They looked at the camera. Kendrick grumbles as he slowly slips his head out to look.

It was a light, circling the area. Kendrick looked closer

It was Bob…or well Sentry.

“Looks like he’s out on patrol again” Riri sighed in concern. “Out of all people” Kamala whined.

“He’s …dangerous isn’t he” Kendrick frowned.

“No kidding, why do you think Shuri built this place 29 miles deep?” Joaquin looks over to Kendrick and nuzzles the area closest to Kendricks face.

“Even then it is wise to be cautious” Shuri mumbles.

“Pete’s been doing a good job at distracting them every so often” Kate sighed as she lowered her bow as sentry moved on.

“Wait pete? As in peter parker?” Kendrick blinked. Holy shit, his old marvel crush is involved too? Who would have known!?

“Yea, spiderman …right?” Kendrick asked, a lil unsure on how things really changed here.

“Yep…he’s apart of the avengers ….well sorta. He’s kinda like a badass brooding spy, he’s like older then most of us except Joaquin” Kate informs the male.

“one of two alphas in our group” Joaquin hummed softly. “And Joaquin has the hots for” Kate whispers. “It’s like super cute, both of them are totally hopeless” Kamala giggled.

“And Johnny” Billy comments nonchalantly.

“I’m stuck…..in an omegaverse version of the MCU” Kendrick whispers after the group had explains to him his questions.

“What were the whole beta, omega, alpha crap?”

“Why are the avengers suddenly bad?”

“How did he know any of them?”

As Kendrick dreaded he was in an omegaverse version of the MCU and he turned out to be a fucking Omega. How lame

The new avengers never found light, but alas they found comfort in darkness as they became a pack. Killing, hurting many people as assigned. The scariest of them all was the Sentry, and untameable force, dangerous beyond reason and definitely not a good guy. That guy never seemed to have no weakness to anything or anyone, but from what The group had seen, the only person outside the pack he was weakest for was their missing piece.

Charlie was the missing piece.

Apparently this body was their missing piece.

Charles Xavier

That was this body’s name.

Holy shit, that means he can read minds no? Kendrick looked around then at Kamala and tries reading her mind …alas he got nothing but a weird look from her.

He didn’t realize the strain he placed on his body trying and he ended up looking like he was taking a shit.

Man that sucks, the nerd was expecting to have some form of correlation to the Charles Xavier he knows from the X men movies.

“And I know all of you cus I rescued you from some form of danger in that past several years?….how old am I?” Charles blinked.

“Like 65” Joaquin points out

That made Kendrick choke on his soup and coughed. Billy flicked his wrist and passed him a cup of water.

“I’m that old? How am I looking so young?” Kendrick mutters “I looked young when I saw myself in the mirror, and whole face looks like a mess. Like I was fused together with somebody else or something” Kendrick said with a sigh.

Billy blinked at that, was he….just like him? Was he someone else? Did, Charles die? He grew paler by the second and bit his lip slightly

“No that’s crazy” Kendrick chuckles “maybe it is amnesia” he exhales softly.

Kendrick only stirs the pot, he had taken each of their cup ramen to make something healthier.

“So um ….guess I’m stuck here?” He asked glancing at Shuri who nods “yes, they will be out there looking for you , stopping at nothing to find this place” she states.

“But we are hidden well, we are currently 23 feet under water. Underneath Riris car repair shop.” She swipes at her tablet and a hologram appeared of the place then the addition underneath.

“Plus I have added a protective spell that keeps our pheromones and yours hidden and from being able to leak out whenever we go in and out of the place.” Billy explains.

“Right , you are magic” Kendrick mumbles. “That’s so cool” he grinned

“Yea” Billy nods and blushed slightly.

“I am sorry for not remembering you guys , you guys seem so cool” the old man said and smiled softly.

One could hear the omegas preening from the praise. Riri hiding with with a small chuckle. “I’m naturally cool, so I have no idea what your saying” she shrugged.

Kamala laughed “she is right” she nods.

Things seemed to silently come together. The air was comfortable and much more relaxed.

They had the news on, things seemed ordinary, there were a few protests for Omegan rights, then the news of his disappearance, urging anyone to turn him in.

“Anyone who finds him, will be rewarded handsomely” Valentina de Fontaine spoke up around press. She looked hella tired too

Kendrick rolled his eyes at her display on TV. But glances behind her, there they were all standing straight, they all looked very upset but held their composure.

he looks over to one, his new favorite character. Bob

well this seems to be his Sentry self, looked like one bad move would immediately tip him over. This display made himself sad, even the display of Bucky was upsetting.

did Steve never help him? Was he still under hydra?

‘‘they all look so….tired.” Kendrick mutters softly.

“yea…right.” Riri scoffs.

the male turns to her in curiosity.

Riri looked to him and sighed “they are nothing but assholes who do what they want, say what they want, hurt and kill anything they want, why? Cus they can. The word avenger has lost its meaning entirely.” She rants.

Joaquin frowned and rubbed her shoulder. One can see the young omega slowly calm down the more breaths she took.

“They’ve done you wrong…..” Kendrick looked back at the TV, he stiffens when he sees that Yelena was staring straight at the camera.

‘Well thats fucking scary. They sure they arent trying to hurt me?’ He swallows hard.

“You’ll be safe here okay?” Kamala said offering a small nudge. Kate observed them then nods “yea’’ she pipes up determinedly. “Gotta protect mama.” She said with a small chuckle.

this made Kendrick feel so warm, this felt nice…being surrounded by others, he knew what loneliness was. It was his home. This body’s happiness and these kids……they were not his own.

It was around bedtime where everyone seemed to go to their respected beds or places. Belly’s full thanks to Kendrick.

Kendrick hummed as he cleaned up, he insisted too, having threatened to hold his breath till he got all of them to let him do it.

He washed the dishes and was deep in thought. ‘if I was in the omegaverse, aren’t they all about smelling and stuff? Why haven’t I smelled anything?’ he thought.

“Your mind is messy” billy comments, that made the older omega jump and look over to him.

“My-my mind? How can you …” he paused then chuckles awkwardly ”nevermind” he shook his head.

“I am …so confused and lost and….it’s a lot for someone like me” Kendrick looked down at his hands, twitching with numerous different feelings.

Was he really dead or in a coma? His old body? He wouldn’t be surprised, he was ill anyways, guess it was his time to leave.

Billy blinked and knew that feeling well “who were you?” He asked after a long pause.

“Kendrick…. Kendrick Lorenzo, 22 years old…..I don’t belong here” he explains softly, already knowing, his situation is almost just like Billy’s.

“Right….and would you want everyone to know? Or” the younger beta asked tilting his head.

“I don’t think that will be wise ….. they’ll probably hate me…..interrogate me. Or worse I guess? I don’t want them to feel like they lost this….Charlie, I hear two voices in my head” Kendrick points.

“Two?” Billy stared in slightly shock and hope, maybe Charlie was still in there?

“Yea, one likes to whimper Alot? Like ‘pups’ or ‘alpha’ and cringey stuff like that? While the other always grunts and growls, I mostly listen to him, he seems like he knows how to handle things without fear” Kendrick points at his temple.

Last night was great, eating junk food and happily rewatching all of the MCU, not to mention getting and earlier then early movie viewing of the fantastic 4 first steps.

the light shown brightly in his face, his vision blurry as an out of focus camera before finally he could see perfectly.

why did his body hurt so much? An not his usual pains, more like, one fell from the 5th floor of a building.

but the machinery around him was strange, he felt the oxygen mask on him.

almost like a dogs whimper, he blinked and looked around, he didnt see anything, a growl was heard as well. This is so weird, sounded like it was in his head. ‘Well I’ve definitely gone insane’ he chuckled in his head.

he sat up , but yelps when he was yanked back by the oxygen mask, he gagged when he realized their as a tube down his throat.

he slowly disconnects it, he didn’t need it…..he sue didnt feel like he did.

he hacked up the tube and coughed, his chest and head throbbing.

maybe this was a bad idea, then again he always did it often. He was almost always at the hospital and sometimes broke rules.

he sat and looked around and furrowed his brows abit, when he observed the room better, there were so many balloons and flowers, there were a whole lot of blankets and pillows in one corner.

wasnt really and ordinary pile, it looked like it was purposefully structured to resemble ‘nest!’ A voice whined Kendrick jumped at the voice “wh….” he blinked rapidly. ‘Safe’ another grunts.

kendrick started to breath faster, ‘this isn’t my room, where the hell am i?’ His thoughts ran and he tried thinking back to what happened the night before. He blinked when he looked over to his night stand, he didnt see the usual pile of painkillers or anxiety pills.

it was covered in snacks and letters.

‘must be in the wrong room’ he hummed as he looked to the button and pressed it to see if a nurse can help him get to is actual room.

he prepared himself to be taken off he bed, he seemed to have a lot more energy then usual.

he smiled at that, he yelps when he placed his hand wrong and he slips off the bed.

kendrik gasped and hissed in pain. He pants and pursed his lips, fuck was he gonna have a huge as bruise…probably internal bleeding too. He got up slowly.

He felt so light. He looked down at himself finally.

This wasnt his clothes.

He crawled over to a long mirror in the corer of the room quickly, far quicker then he realized and almost crashed into the mirror.

kendrick took off the beanie nd watches as his hair spills out.

too much was happening he didnt realize the presence approaching his room.

“Mr Sinclair?” A woman’s voice spoke out and she gasps. Kendrick looked over to her, why was she so scared?

“i-i let them know you are up!” She exclaims. Another nurse came in to help Kendrick back to bed.

“thank you” Kendrick spoke up and blushed softly. Speaking…..he was speaking

he had never really spoke, there was always a block that kept him from uttering a single word to anyone since he was but a toddler.

“here….take this” the nurse helping him gave in his hand.

“Leave while we still can, they are dangerous, we have a chance, while they are still on their way .” She whispers worriedly.

kendrick gulps “w-who” he asked.

“the avengers.” She states in confusion.

“Do i know you?” Kendrick asked, his face twitching in discomfort as the nose slips from his lips.

“its me, Kate…” she takes off her wig.

Kendrick huffs as e lets himself be dragged along. He decides to piece things himself.

“Meh” IIya look out the window with a small sigh. His gaze unfocused as they drive by houses , stores apartments till the buildings go bigger.

So things are kept simple, normal, traditional.

Harris have him a look and flashes his own teeth but in a more amused look.

Soon enough

They had arrived after 30 minutes or so.

The car rolls it’s way to the front the hotel. A valet opened the door for Mr Rozanov . “Alright then, you better be ready by 7pm, I have a couple of meetings to organize for you so you have A-bit of downtime for now” Harris explains.

Iiya hummed as he stared at his phone in total boredom and silently walked out of the car. He was greeted with the staff in charge of taking care of him and his needs.

As he walked out, he ends up stepping on whoever opened the door with the heel of his expensive shoes. Unintentional mind you.

The person hissed silently

“Welcome Mr. Rozanov” they all greeted with big smiles.

“Today, Mr Hollander here will happily lead you to your room, feel free to go to him for anything” the hostess smiled.
