You know, the last thing I want to see when I browse the tags of our World Series Champs on this site is people then juxtaposing it with our wannabe dictator president like this World Series Win was HIS victory over Canada.

First off, Canada only has ONE MLB team. Doesn’t really feel like much of an American win if there’s just the Blue Jays on the other side of the northern border and no one else. This was a win for LA and Dodger fans! That’s it!

Secondly, that embarrassment in the White House has done NOTHING for Los Angeles! When the fires hit back in January all he did was try to pick fights with California’s governor and Democrats. Barely even offering so much as some words support and empathy for the people who lost everything. He sent ICE and federal agents after this city’s residents to deport them to countries that many weren’t originally from. Hell- his little crony Steven Miller is teaming up with a white supremacist group to go after the FUCKING DODGERS THEMSELVES over petty complaints of DEI policies!!!

Yes, the Dodgers visited the White House and did a lousy job responding to the ICE thing! (Thank God for Kiké Hernandez! Please don’t leave the Dodgers! 💙) But that’s not a complete reflection of everyone involved with this team! Given that owner tends to lean more conservative than the city the Dodgers represents it’s not surprising the bungling of their public image on these issues… Hopefully this time around EVERYONE at the top will listen to the concerns of the fans.

TLDR: Donald Trump (🤮) should not be allowed in anything regarding our World Series Champs!

The Dodgers will indeed visit President Donald Trump at the White House.

Honestly, as an LA resident who’s been loyal to the Dodgers for as long as I can remember, this is a huge disappointment… Them winning the World Series was the last happy moment I had before election day 2024. I’ve been clinging to that feeling in hope that it will get me through these next 4 years. I still feel that strong sense of loyalty. I can’t help but feel that fear of retaliation from the thin skinned leaders at the top played a role in this. But still, this hurts.
