I'm just going to say it: That 'in every universe' storyline would've been better with one small moment of recognition.

Them on their first date, talking about cars or whatever and Asa mentioning that Anthony always dreamt of owning a Bentley...and Anthony being like "how did you know?"...and Asa not knowing. "Just a guess" but there's a look in his eyes, like he's not sure how he knows, but he does.

Or Anthony mentioning that they need to get dessert, no matter how full they are, because Asa never skips dessert when there's chocolate cake on the menu and Asa being delightfully surprised at how correct that is.

Something, anything, to give us a small glimmer of our OG husbands in these two different men. A small moment of hope.
