So, I know I haven’t been posting to the blog a lot recently, but I’ve been swamped! I do internship 4 days a week and when I get back home it’s about time to go to bed. It is super fun, but there’s not much time to do my own little things. I’m learning tons though! However, today I got to go to the thrift shop and I scored this awesome old super 8 movie projector, it works and everything! I can’t wait to get some film to test it!

Working on a new idea for my website! And I’ve played around with paper today! A paper Cactus!

Okay, So it has been some hectic months with a lot of deadlines and testing moments in school. Followed by a project month in January (that was fun, but hard and then awful and slightly boring), but now internship has started. My first ever internship. And it’s awesome!  I’ll be sure to make some more uploads on tumblr again, it has been a little dusty lately.... Anyway, here’s Wonderwall/kaleidoscope-fun-at-animation-internship!

It’s been a while since I posted something, but it was DEADLINE MONTH xD That’s always rather killing. But I made it through! Anyway, here’s a short little bit of animation from my idea of a movie about death. This is Death walking :)

I am also doing a little research about composition and how the way you place your main subject in its surroundings can change the vibes. Did some studies on my plush bunny and our couch today hihi  I love how these pages look though. Somehow if you put little drawings like this together they form a story on their own.

Working on a tiny personal animation experiment about loneliness/overthinking. Experimenting with colouring every single frame differently and then putting them back together (as in the Where are you now clip, but then way less random; used (or I’m trying to use) the technique to get across a message). These are only the last 13 frames, not much movement happens in those, but there will be a little camera movement. *Sigh, only 90 more frames to go. Looks pretty cool though! :)  Happy me!

So, I will be working on a little thing of my own (quite litterary haha) for the next month. Today when I (and my helpful housemate Peter @phanimationstudent) did some filming in daylight I thought this was going to flop, but after doing it in the dark I feel like I can work with this!
