I think there would be so much comfort in being married. That person is your other half. They make you feel safe. They know your favorite book, your favorite candle scent, the songs that make you emotional, actors you hate for no reason, the reoccurring nightmare you’ve had since you were little, how many pillows you sleep with, your dream car, your first pet’s name, your lucky number, your favorite flower, your favorite color, your biggest fear, your dream vacation, shows you want to binge, your favorite snacks, your favorite holiday etc. There’s just something so beautiful and touching about trusting and loving someone so much. They’re part of you. And I can’t wait for that.

What if 😳😳😳 we woke up early on a warm spring morning and made breakfast together, then we drove to Lowe’s or Home Depot and shopped for our garden and bought seeds and pots and shovels and stones for a little walkway and a water fountain for decoration and then we went home and worked on it for a few hours and ate lunch outside like a mini picnic until the sky started to get dark and it rained on us so we ran inside and cuddled n played Minecraft together 😳 haha jk unless?

Imagine thrifting and then going to vintage shops or old book stores w your bae 🥺 picking out clothes for each other and trying outfits on and then buying home decor talking about what would look good where and getting to go home and decorate and hang everything up together

there’s something about living life deliberately…wearing clothes that you actually want to and that you feel reflect you and your style not just because you’ve had them for years and don’t know what else you would throw on….listening to songs and creating playlists that excite you and represent your actual mood not just listening to songs that you’ve had downloaded for years that don’t make you feel anything special anymore…it’s VERY easy to stay with what you’re comfortable and it might take a bit of experimenting before you find what feels like a deliberate choice that reflects more of YOU but it’s absolutely worth the leap of faith you may have to convince yourself to make in order to stop feeling like a passenger in your own life

It’s 3am Saturday morning and we just finished building our fort in the living room. You put the last sheet and clothespins on and I hurried finishing the popcorn in the kitchen. We make fun of generic acting in infomercials for dumb products and we start throwing pillows at each other. We take Polaroid pictures together and hang them on the wall. We cuddle until sunrise. This is how I want things to stay forever.

What if we packed our Volkswagen bus with games and snacks and went on a road trip and took turns blasting our favorite songs and singing along and then we stopped to get food and ate in the back of the bus at a little table and played the games we brought and we were in love and we were both girls 😳😳😳 haha jk....unless?

red, orange, yellow, brown. the crunching of leaves under your boots, wind blowing through your hair, cloudy skies, goosebumps from a cold breeze. baggy sweaters, hoodies, fuzzy socks. hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon, pumpkin pie, tea. brown eyes and dark hair. neat handwriting, the smell of books. watching the sunset from your backyard. breathing in the cold air and closing your eyes, just being here.
