Saw this going around on twitter and thought it was a cool idea. In this case favourites = whoever I think looks boss. Because I certainly don't like playing Ryze lol
Don't expect me to become a furry artist or anything, I just quite like the design for Shirou Ogami, lol.
Just finished working on the cover for the final instalment of my friend Ryan Haack’s comic "Bric-a-Brac". Had a blast on this one.
Some work for a project I'm involved in and some of the process/thumbs leading up to it. Wanted it to raise questions about things like the relationship between the artefact/relic and the behemoth in the background whilst not really giving anything away.
Sketchbook
Been trying to get into daily sketches. Only 3 days in (and I’ll probably miss some days now that I’ve jinxed it) but here’s what I’ve been posting on the insta/twitter.

Painting practice. Still can't believe Illaoi's gonna be in a game made by Airship Syndicate.
Recently finished a job for Riot Games in collaboration with their VALORANT Esports team. This one was a celebratory piece for the Sentinels who recently came out on top at the VALORANT Masters for North America.
I know literally nothing about VALORANT, as FPS MOBAs aren’t really my kind of game. But I will say that I do like a few of the characters.
The top version is the final that they went for in the end. The second one is a more icy/tundra version of it (as it was meant to be taking place on the map called “Icebox”).
Happy dirty friday.
Took my time working up an old TMNT sketch I did aaaages ago which I always thought looked really cool. Despite all the scary NFT stuff going around about artist's work getting stolen, I wanted to show you guys.
Also thinking of setting up a shop to sell some prints. This may be one of them. If that’s the kind of thing you’d be interested in, please DM me and let me know. I need to get a better idea of what people are looking for.
Really wanted to draw wolverine and take my time with it. I honestly really wonder who will end up replacing Hugh Jackman as wolvie when he finally joins the MCU. Keep seeing articles casting Daniel Radcliffe as the next wolvie...and...to me that's insane.
Sketch Vs Final
Late to the party (as ever) but here’s a sketch I did this morning vs the final. Been watching Wandavision lately and Vision is one of my favourite Avengers. So even though this wasn’t meant to be Vision fanart, that’s probably why it looks like him.
There was no plan.
Just realised that I never posted the final version of my artstation challenge entry for the lightbox competition. I submitted it back on the 13th of July (i think) but here’s all my demon’s.
Had a bit of a panic when the deadline passed and I realised that I hadn’t officially submitted my entry, meaning it just said “unfinished” at the top of my page. But thankfully a cool guy called Daniel over at artstation support sorted it out for me.
Check out this cover for Jovan Nesbit’s “The Automaton War”. Ruminantbrood on instagram.
Haven’t really been doing a lot of comic work lately as I’m still intensely focusing on adapting my work to fit the game industry and that is requiring a lot of new learning. But - I really enjoyed doing this and the day I can’t draw like this will be the day I have a crisis.
I brought out the big Bachalo-inspired-guns for this one.
Oh yeah and just before the weekend I did this quick Sion battle scene thing for practice. Should do a few more of these.
Another two demons for my artstation challenge entry. Only two more to go now and then I can post the full line up.
