I got hit with the Project Hail Mary hype ray two weeks ago but had ZERO free time to do anything about it. Now that I got a couple of chill days between hardcore thesis film crunch, I allowed myself to try and do some fanart. So, here goes my first attempt at drawing a universally beloved living rock, a.k.a. Rocky the Eridian! I love this little guy so muuuchhhh aaaa

It’s hard to search for references of any side other than the “satellite dish” one and it’s really frustrating, so I had to improvise a bit.

Welcome to my little passion project, now with its own blog!

Bolt from the Blue, formerly just "Despicable Me 4 (fan concept)" is a fanfiction I've been writing since 2022 and is a deep dive into an original, alternate concept for the fourth movie, with inspirations taken from this comic by @elitadream. Over time this project has accumulated quite a few enjoyers and lots of beautiful fanart, which has helped evolve quite a firm aspiration for me to finish this – so, I decided to make this blog to separate it a little from my personal blog and give the wonderful fanart the space they deserve. Also for updates of course!

Summary, for those who are new:

After Balthazar Bratt's defeat, everything seems to go better than ever: Gru and Lucy are back working for the AVL and Gru's overly enthusiastic brother, Dru is the new bad guy in town.

...or is he?

The illusion of everything going so well fades, as the past comes back to haunt the family, threatening to destroy them once and for all...

If it wasn't for the most passionate of the family doing everything in their power to protect what they love most - even if it means to step over the bounds of time and space itself...
