One year later (attempted motivational post （〃￣∇￣）

What could happen in a year? A lot of things I think ... especially in 2020. I opened my Instagram account when I bought my first graphics tablet, just a year ago. I have never drawn digitally and I was super anxious about the organization of the page, scared by the judgment of other people, so my creation process was very limited, son of my goal to please everyone (social network disease -_-) . In February I needed to stop my artistic activity for studio and later the quarantine changed our life. I used that period to focus my activity on study and drawing, so my style has been changed and now you can see the stylistic comparison 🌌 My little encouragement is: draw a lot, don't be afraid of changes, develop your style and characters, it's one of my favorite things and it's great T_T

To celebrate my first year of digital activity and my little improvement, I decided to open a DTIYS challenge on my Instagram (maybe I'll post it on Twitter but I'm not sure enough abbastanza 〃￣∇￣). Kyou Kai Fanart  ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Hi loved her attitude, so when a friend on Instagram asked me to redraw her I accepted immediately. It was a little challengy because the original style is absolutely different from mine but with aq little effort, she was born ✨

The last period was definitely stressful... I still preparing everything for my upcoming fair (my first fair T_T) so I’m in from of my PC all the damn day.  From the next week I hope that I’ll post here more frequently, with some news :)

Here’s a little Wip of my new favourite witch (~˘▾˘)~ I'm a super fan of Re: zero, maybe the only isekai I really like 🌌 Two days ago I made a big discovery: I missed 8 episodes of the second season ... all episodes （ 〃￣∇￣） but don't be afraid, I saw them all in one night ✨ I love how the series started and I absolutely need to watch the episode 9 T_T

Here is a piece created for a dtiys challenge on Instagram 🌌 What is a dtiys and why do I love this kind of challenge? Dtiys stands for “draw this in your style” and the goal is really simple: to redesign a character using your style. This is amazing because you have to step out of your comfort zone and think about how to recreate a character who is still recognizable ... sometimes it's difficult （〃￣∇￣)

Hi guys, usually tracing art is a wrong thing but I think that sometimes it can be useful... so, trace o do not trace? let's talk ✨

The argument is: is the trace a good method to learn the basic shape of the body? When is it wrong? When does Tora use the illegal trick?

Basically I draw using references but if I am able to do, I draw directly from the model (or from the photo), without trace, print or do anything with the original source. However, sometimes (many times if I have to tell the truth) I use the track learning trick. What is that? It's simple: if I don't know something, I use technology to see through things and imagine geometric shapes underneath everything 🌌. Obviously when I get my geometric model I don't draw on it but I take a new sheet and here we are, now I understand more of my reference  (~ ˘▾˘) ~

As you can see I created the piece of watercolor on a super clean sheet, without trace anything, using the new memorised elements.

I think this is a super useful method for memorizing new proportions and this is one of my favorite ways to understand things with a sort of X-ray (〃￣∇￣） so find a way to learn new things and remember to just trace for study purposes :)

Usually I don't draw the background, but for the last illustration I decided to develop something new and make an effort to learn new things 🌌 As always it seems a surface of indefinite strokes, but I was relaxed in doing it, so it's the right thing for me at the moment :) it's time to study new techniques and check other artists to improve my works ✨ Hope you like it （〃￣∇￣）

I recently had a crazy idea: create a daily schedule and share every step on Instagram stories （〃￣∇￣） It seems a stupid thing but for a procrastinator it is a real challenge ... we lose concentration in many different ways, when we try to concentrate, everything becomes interesting: the cat, the floor, the number of flies in the house, the composition of the air and of course video games or the refrigerator 🍩

Today I completed the first challenge and I am very tired, but I think it will be better and better in the next few days ✨ test yourself and check my Instagram account if you want to see my progress ᕕ (ᐛ) ᕗ

When you feel tired because thinking about drawings composition and definition are super difficult phases, try to create dynamic lines and allow your body to act more freely... sometimes results are less important than the state of mind. Feel free to create something new without anxiety or other bad feelings, it’s important for you and for your art (~˘▾˘)~ 🌌

When you feel the need of a new friend, turn a egg in a rib cage model, it will be perfect 🥚 🍳  I’m recently doing a lot of anatomy studies and I found this helpful method to suggest the correct direction of the rib cage... and when you learn enough you can eat it 😏 simply amazing

Ai Tanabe

Planetes is one of my favourite series, so I decided to create an Ai Tanabe Fanart 🌌 When I was a child, I used to sit outside my house to watch the moon with my father's binoculars... I love staring at the sky 🌕

I felt very stuck this week and my hand sometimes didn't cooperate ... someone calls it "art block" or something like that. But hey, even if you feel stuck, don't stop and go ahead.  At the end, today I finished her, hope you like it 🌌

Quick study + chit chat ✨ 

I love drawing, it’s able to create a different dimension and here is possible to relax my mind. The hand flow freely on the little screen without a particular mission. Today I moved my life again after four months of quarantine... I’m again in the city where I study and everything is very loud, but more importantly, now I’m in my room, with my small screen, my digital pencil and I’m free.
