hiiiii soooooo as you guys may know, alu got hit by a car last month. he was miraculously okay but he did break one of his teeth, and it turns out he needs it removed 🥲 he's in more pain every day and it's starting to affect his ability to eat so it can't wait. and it's a little much for me to cover on my own right now, since school is out and my summer job search is going slow :(
if anyone can spare a few dollars to help me pay for the appointment (the vet gave me a rough estimate of about $500 but that wasn't including the meds they'll surely tack on...), i would really appreciate it 🥲 pls share this post too if you can ;; i hate seeing my baby uncomfortable and in pain, and waiting too long risks infection

Every day I watch her struggle without the urgent treatment she needs. Fear and helplessness overwhelm me, and I don’t know how much longer we can endure this.
My daughters, Alma, Lama, and Lina, ask about their mother and cling to me in fear. I try to stay strong for them, but it gets harder every day.
At the same time, we struggle to meet our basic needs. Food, clean water, medicine, and daily essentials cost more than $200 every day, and we cannot afford this on our own.

(O7/03/26) Survival is harrowing in Sudan's human rights crisis for everyone, but especially women and queer kinfolk. I have been friends with the camp leader, Abdul, since June of 2025. I am happy to know of his survival but understand and mourn that his people are starving, not living.
At the time of posting, it has been over 24 hours since anyone has eaten. They are at zero funds.
With evidence below, Abdu has informed me that their expenses are nearly 100 USD a day due to scarcity. So, the number he gave was 600 dollars a week. The lowest goal, then, approximately 2400 for one month of food.
Reasonably, I will set their goal at 2800 for the month of July. The nature of these posts, is that as funds are expended, goals are harder to track. But I implore you to donate and share his gfm with some of this info, far and wide if you cannot donate. Please do not ignore when 5 dollars, 10 dollars, 50 dollars can add up to save vulnerable human lives. Black lives still matter. Trans people are real human beings who deserve safety.

I am begging you from the bottom of my heart, please do not scroll past my father’s suffering.
Yesterday, my father was seriously injured in the head after a nearby bombardment. The injury is severe, and his condition is getting worse. Doctors have told us that he urgently needs surgery as soon as possible to prevent further deterioration and potentially save his life.
We are devastated and completely unable to afford the cost of the operation. The surgery costs $1,200, and every moment we wait puts my father at greater risk.

People are scrolling past our cries for help as if our pain is invisible, while we are drowning in fear and helplessness.
