Crazy Dream?

Had an odd dream this morning. I was apart of a group trying to save people. One of our group members died but he came to me in a spirit form and said, "Oku-Ko-u-doju" I obviously don't know what it means but repeated it over and over. I woke up still saying it in my head and the husband decides to google it. It literally translates from a language called Yoruba and it reads, "has updated her dead." If you take that phrase from my dream and translate it the phrase reads Yoruba: "Oku ko u doju" English: "Has updated her dead" If you place accent marks over all the "u" vowels it becomes Yoruba: "Okú ko ú dojú" English: "Have him face death"

I haven't wrote a blog in a while but late last night I posted a Facebook status that read; "It will never cease to amaze me how cruel people are to each other. Unapologetic about the cruelty and the disrespect then have the audacity to label it as "real." :/ There is a difference between lowdown disrespectful cruelty and being productively honest, or what I deem to be "real." #StayProductivelyHonestMyFriends" After posting this status I kept thinking about people who preach love and respect yet live the complete opposite. DO NOT GET ME WRONG I am in no way shape or form perfect whatsoever I have judged a book by its cover I have gossiped I have skeletons in my closet just like everyone else. I guess where the line is drawn is how much of a conscience we have and how it affects us. I have a hard time putting others down because while I'm being derogatory, negative or ill minded toward a person I am at the same time imagining how they could potentially be affected by my words. I think about how I would feel if I was being targeted. I become curious about their story and what skeletons they harbor. How did they get to this point? Who do they have as a support system? Where do they go for help? What right do I have to take away self esteem, confidence, self worth or whatever the case may be? There is already enough hate in the world and as the saying goes "misery loves company," but does it really make you feel that much better to make someone feel worse than what they already do? Is your life that bad that you have to bring someone else to where you are? Why would you even want that? I find it sickening and a bit frightening that we live in a world where a negative rant or social post will be read, liked, reposted, shared or reblogged but making an effort to change that with positivity will and most of the time is always ignored. As I close out my thoughts I pose to the readers a simple question, "What would make you reconsider hating or giving off negativity?" If you care not for yourself would you want your kids to go through that? Perhaps you don't mind the negativity but what about your kid(s)? Maybe you care more about your pets or animal life in general? You mom? Dad? Siblings? Best friend? Lover? Spouse? What will make you change your way of thinking? Those are just a few thoughts that surface from time to time. I appreciate you taking your time to read this. I hope my energies and words are enough to reach even one person. That makes it all worth it. And remember you ALL are worth it.

I'm thinking Lena is a daddy's girl because he delivered her when she was born. I mean I know I carried the Smurf for 9 months but all that went out the window when daddy held her first I guess... 🤔😂😂😂😂 Now that I think about even when she was cooking in my belly if he touched my stomach she would turn up! I vividly remember going to bed and just before I got comfortable this man had to put his hand on my stomach and Lena lost it. She must have spent the next hour doing the running man with a combination of back flips and somersaults! 🤔😂😂 That's my baby though!

So this is a relationship rant...well sort of. I do NOT understand this "game" I hear so much about. We live in a world where people believe you have to win some sort of "game" to be happy in your relationship. I have not had much experience in that area and maybe that is why I cannot understand it. I have read many Facebook statuses and tweets lately from ladies talking about how they know the game, you can't play them and so on and so forth. Now to these ladies I ask why does their have to be a game at all? If the man you want, think you need, have, or otherwise is NOT doing his part in your relationship why do you stay and or play said game to his benefit. As long as you are entertaining him he will let you. Or at least that is how I see it. No matter how hard your heart hurts or lonely you feel... Or maybe you think he will change then LET HIM GO! Don't be afraid to be alone and gather yourself. You don't need anyone for you to be happy! As cliché as that sounds it couldn't be more true. Perhaps he will grow and realize you were what he needed but say he never does and now not only have you lost to whatever game you all are out here playing but you also have allowed yourself to be damaged in the process. Letting go much sooner may have caused damage but not nearly as much as you are experiencing after staying for so long. After re-reading this is goes vice versa as well. Men you don't have to chase after a women who show 0 potential. If she's not for you bro she's just not for you. This message does not apply to those who intentionally seek immediate pleasure with no long term goals attached! Lbvs. Carry on! Remember, stay productive my friends! 😎✌🏾️
