I'm so in love with Doof taking to gardening as he gets older. It's so nice to think of him doing this bit of physical work regularly, soaking in some sun every day while tending dutifully to his plants with exact measurements of water and required nutrients. Play mad genius from time to time, by making unique grafts and hybridizing species and engineering fruits until the flavours are up to his standards.

He would probably learn to cook complex meals, just so he can show everyone how clearly superior his produce is. Eating fresh every day would be a nice bonus for his health. Not wanting anything to go to waste, he'd start giving away some fruits n veggies regularly, to the point of being so well known by the neigbours that even if he forgot his keys every single day he'd never be locked out of the building again.

He could make some organic wine with the lovely grape vines growing on his balcony and play around with spiced mead. Maybe pick up cheese-making again too, and host little cheese and wine tastings or make delicious charcuterie boards with juicy berries and homemade preserves to enjoy with his family.

It's so tender just how this one hobby could bring him so much joy.

Also he should regularly send bouquets with "fuck you" notes to this guy
