January LU Write-a-Thon Round Up: 246,992 Words in One Day!
On the first day of the year 67 writers came together to see how many words we could write in a single day. From Fic to homework and everything in between, we managed to collaboratively get nearly 250k in 24 hours. Go team!
Lovely event dashboard made by the even lovelier @zarvasace. Superlatives are fun little awards and titles given by participants to participants of the event, and were all chosen with love (and humor). Clubs are self-assigned groups writers could make and join to combine their word counts for friendly competition. Belie the cut is, in order, the Winner’s Circle, Clubs, Everyone Else who received a superlative in alphabetical order.
Winner’s Circle (Top Five Most Wordiest)
At 27,343 words, “Writer of all Time” goes to @twink-between-worlds with one hell of a showing. Well done!

Clubs
Clubs! In these, participants were allowed to come together and find common ground around a chosen topic or theme. These clubs were completely public, so anyone could join the fun and combine their word counts for some friendly competition. Thank you all for playing, check out your stats below!
