Dende is so cool and underutilized and there’s so much more to his role (and kami’s role) that goes so unexplored it drives me NUTS.

What does guardian of earth DO? What have they done all this time for all of history? When was this position established? Was a human the first guardian of earth, or was it some creature long extinct?

There is so much here that could be explored and that’s not even the present. What does dende do? Watch over the earth? That’s it? Record history?
