so unfortunately, we decided to shut down the Danny Phantom reboot project I was in charge of. For a myriad of reasons, the biggest being lack of people and too big a scale. :( It’s bittersweet and I won’t go into it here

What I WILL go into are some of the concepts I made for the trio, Jazz, and Vlad (also Dan)! Please ignore that I’m not that good at the DP style lmao

For Danny we didn’t wanna change anything too drastically on him, so we were mostly just playing around with giving him slightly more variety in his outfits. Same for Jazz

For Sam we wanted to make her more of a punk rather than a goth, and give her more practical clothing than a skirt and crop top lol

For Tucker we basically just wanted to keep him like… more updated/less of a ‘geek’ caricature? but still keeping that nerdy undercurrent (some of the other concepts for him pulled this off beautifully, whereas mine were a bit weak imo)

Vlad was given a lot more complexity in his character, backstory, and involvement with the Fentons, and something we thought might be interesting would be to give him a cane; he would actually need it to walk, as he would have sustained an injury during the Proto Portal accident in college, but it also added to the silhouette and the Rich Country Gentleman look lol (we also talked about a running gag where he’d just throw his cane off-screen for every fight and then he’d mysteriously have a new one next appearance, I’m very sad I’ll never see that gag actually done)

Also added a little doodle I did VERY early of a concept for Dan, where he’s like a nasty amalgamation of different timeline Dannys and such, and in my fantasies he would move akin to Aggie from Paranorman, where it’d be like his physical being is trying to separate into its disparate parts but can’t quite make it there

It was a SUPER early idea we were throwing around lol and kinda…. got changed as things developed but yea, I still like him. He was dubbed Eldritch Dan

ok!!! i did it!!!! i used the outfit from the “king momo” design I had to make a Real™ King Boo Gijinka!!!!!!! This is waaayy more true to what I’d want out of a design for him.

*UPDATE*

Hey everyone! I’m so sorry it has taken so long to get back to you guys. I have been avoiding coming back because I didn’t want to talk about why I left and what happened. But since tmublr is going down the shitter, I should let you guys know what’s going on and what will become of UnderLust. So as many of you know, a few months ago I posted saying that I was in the hospital and was going on a hiatus. I wasn’t in a normal hospital, but a mental hospital. I attempted suicide a few months ago and spent the fallowing 2 weeks recovering. I want to make it very clear that my decision to do what I did had NOTHING to do with tumblr! I was not bullied or sent death threats of any sort! Everyone on here has actually been very sweet and supportive, and I am so greatful to all of you for your love and concerns <3 I have been struggling with depression for a long time and went over the edge one night. I AM OK! physically and mentally. I have been talking with a therapist and was on medication for a short time to sorta reset myself. Since then I have been focusing a lot on healthy distractions and a lot of soul searching. I have been studying the bible and minimizing my internet time. I still love UnderTale (still geeking out about DeltaRune) and the fandom, but if I’m going to move forward and improve myself…. maybe skeleton dicks isn’t the way to go? A huge part of me wants to continue the UnderLust story, but with where I am right now, It wouldn’t be healthy for me. So thank you to everyone for all your love and support over the years and I’m sorry for being so flaky. I have deleted my Patreon account and am putting UnderLust behind me so I can move forward. I am giving permition to make UnderLust public domain. You guys can do whatever you like with it!. IF ANYONE ELSE IS GOING THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH, KNOW THAT YOU ARE LOVED AND YOU ARE WORTH IT! SEEK HELP AND TELL THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE HOW YOU ARE FEELING! YOU ARE NOT A BURDEN AND THEY WILL HELP BECAUSE THEY DO LOVE YOU! YOUR LIFE HAS VALUE! Thank you for listening to my rant haha!
