It honestly pisses me off how Spotify refuses to let users block ai music and instead obscures the identifier for AI generated artists (which the uploader has to choose to disclose, which you know they don't) because it used to be a great way for me to find new music. Now I don't want to touch it because I don't want to get tricked into listening to slop.

not only are they enforcing ai music having to be tagged and doing their best to tag any they find themselves, theyre also strict about gen ai music not impersonating other artists and not allowing it to be monetized

sadly they dont have a free tier anymore, but they pay artists better than spotify doers and iirc their cheapest plan is cheaper than spotify's too
