So, I’ve had a bit of a Marie Kondo moment, and I’m leaving Tumblr again. This time possibly indefinitely.

I know I like, just got back, but I took a moment to think about it, and straight up, this app is not worth the time I spend on it for how regularly it leaves me in a worse mood than before.

It is kind of annoying because this app is the only social media I’m on (unless YT or Discord counts), and there’s not exactly a good alternative present for me to pick from, so I’m kinda being cut off.

But I just don’t wanna stick around.

As it turns out? Those two things don’t mix very well. His joints are Horrible. They lock up randomly, the worst of which being the door to his tape deck.

He physically isn’t able to dock his cassettes reliably because they might get stuck in there.

What does he do to fix this? So glad you asked!! He has his own assistive aids, in this case: a portable external carrying case

It was made and personalized to work specifically for him and his situation

So, a post on a sideblog of mine has taken off quite a bit, which is always fun.

But I’ve also gotten to watch the notifications/notes section of the app slowly crumble to bits.

First it just started skipping certain ones on that post; Like I’d occasionally spot a reblog on the post that never appeared in my notifications.

Then it stopped loading in anything past the first or second note group for that whole sideblog, which usually meant I could only see the “__ and X others liked” and “__ and X others reblogged” for that post, and nothing else.

And now;

I just straight up don’t get to see my notes anymore. They’re just gone.

Normally, glitches like this are kinda funny to me, but with all the useless (or actively annoying/malicious) updates to tumblr recently, this just pisses me off now.

@staff Can you like. Actually fix your damn app? Is that really so much to ask?

Me (has a special interest in Mario and has desperately wanted new Mario announcements): Gets five or so new releases, reacts very quietly, and then goes and lays down

I’m starting to get suspicious that I don’t quite process my emotions in the normal way…
