Historically Accurate - Mayan Turtle Necklace

Historically Accurate CC for your Sims 4 gameplay, based on this jade necklace currently on auction:

Turtle imagery represented the watery surface separating the sky from the underworld. The turtle also served as an earth metaphor and had fertility connotations. In addition, the turtle was believed to be an ally of the Maya rain god Chac. Its carapace was worn by Mayan bacabs, avatars of the rain god, and oftentimes turtle shells accompanied Mayan rulers in their graves to ensure new life and fertility in the Otherworld. Jade was revered by the Maya not only for its beauty, but also because it had spiritual power - it was believed to be the embodiment of the wind and the "breath" that formed the Maya soul. In addition, scholars argue that its color was associated with water and vegetation.

Historically Accurate / Choctaw Beaded Accessories

Historically Accurate Custom Content for your historically accurate The Sims 4 gameplay, with this traditional Choctaw Beadwork!

Commissioned on Tumblr by a simmer who wanted more of their own culture on the game, after looking through the reference on the Choctaw Nation Website, I decided to focus on the beaded accessories since both men and women use it.

After a lot of trial and error due to clipping and necklaces that hovered way too far from the body, the necklaces are shorter than expected to minimize visual glitches, but V3 is still fairly long and you may find clipping when combined with layered clothing.

Historically Accurate / Claddagh Irish Ring

Historically Accurate CC for your historically accurate gameplay, with one of the many Fede Rings (which I fully intend on releasing), this one being one of the most popular designs since the early 1700s.

Very commonly passed on as heirlooms from the previous matriarch or as a plighted troth, the Claddagh Ring is a symbol of the wearer's relationship status; When on the left hand with the crown pointing in then the wearer is married, when it's pointing out then the wearer is engaged. When on the right hand with the crown pointing in then the wearer is in a relationship, when it's pointing out the the wearer is single. This version is for the right hand with the heart pointing in (mostly because I did not want to retexture it again as upside down...) Although it's an irish design, the ring has been popular across the globe through many ages, specially among royalty and politicians to this very day and age.

Coral Crown / Hat Slider Compatible

Some Sulani corals recolored and shrinked to fit on your merfolk head!

Some clipping is expected, you can use the hat slider to better fit it to your Sim's head and hair as demonstrated below.

''I got in touch with a fellow simmer that also happens to be Oneida and that was bummed out from the lack of accurate CC regarding her culture, after looking for references I couldn't help but fall in love with this particular regalia.
