you guys really did some amazing work for vaderdala week. we have a total of 58 fanworks (including 22 fics in the ao3 collection). a total of 20 creators participated in the event. so grateful for each one of you who took the time to create something for the vaderdala community.

Thank you @vaderdalaweek for an amazing week and getting me out of my creative slump. I am just catching up on my vaderdala week prompts. This is for day one raised by a sith. Honestly want to explore this concept of both of them being raised in the darkside some more.

“I warned the council of this,” she breathes as he lets her boots hit the ground once more.

“The solar flare could not have been predicted.”

“Bantha poodoo!” her biting response only draws Vader’s helm a degree in Padmé’s direction as she barrels on. It’s been a while since he’s heard the Huttese language spoken aloud… much less an obscenity from his otherwise elegant wife’s lips.

It would amuse him if not for their lives hanging on the line. She huffs “The timing may have been unexpected, but the risk is exactly as I foretold.”

Vaderdala Week will return for Spooktober

due to interest in a spooktober event (80% according to the survey), i am excited to announce that this blog will facilitate that for our little community. i will post info regarding how to participate in mid august. it will be a one/two-day event since most of us are busy around that season.

if you are interested in volunteering dm me at @evenst4rsburnout. my requirements are that you are somewhat active in the anidala/vaderdala space and are a relatively pleasant individual. i am looking for 1-2 people to help with graphics, blog aesthetics, and prompts. you will not be responsible for the creation of event posts or reblogging submissions. do NOT feel obligated. i am perfectly happy to run the event on my own but i want to give everyone a chance to be a part of the creation aspect of the event if they would like! 1/2 spots are available.
