My head is filled with Spider-Man and DC Comics in general, so you'll suffer from my ideas along with me. I'm honestly upset that on AO3 and social media, there's little mention of Peter's interactions with the Justice League as a whole, not just Batman and his pack.
The DC universe includes Marvel comics. They were popular in the second half of the 20th century and didn't achieve great fame, but Spider-Man stood out among them, still resonating with both children and adults. Of course, over time, the hero couldn't compete with the abundance of real-life heroes, but over the course of several decades, he has become an inspiration for both ordinary civilians and not-so-ordinary people.
And, through random universe-hopping, Peter Parker (an adult!! NOT A TEENAGER) finds himself right at the Watchtower during a League meeting. A skirmish ensues, where Spider-Man is clearly at a disadvantage but handles it well. Someone mentions his civilian identity, and it dawns on him that this is THAT PETER PARKER.
A multitude of funny and not-so-funny moments follow, where Parker isn't entirely happy with everyone knowing his past or embarrassing moments, but at the same time, he acts as a kind of mentor to the others. I can see him interacting on equal terms with Batman and Superman, or, conversely, joking with Green Lantern and Flash, and marveling at the magic of Constantine and Zatanna.
AND OH GOD I FEEL THE STAKES: WHICH COMIC VERSION IS THE BEST FOR THIS PETER PARKER… there would be so many guesses about who Peter was dating, when he was bitten, and just all the other nonsense from the comics and DC adaptations that existed.
I think this could be turned into a 5+1 story, because I really love this trope, or just as a collection of short stories… I don't know, I hope I have time for that someday.
Conversation carried out throughout the shift
Just a little bit more and the architecture course will lead me to write about Peter Parker, who ends up in DC several times in its different eras.
I've been hoping for years now that someone will write about 13-year-old comic book Peter meeting Bruce at the very beginning of his career as Batman. But their meeting is so fleeting, so short, but the spider manages to imprint itself on Bruce's soul. He damn well wants this kid. He wants to help him, to show him that there are adults he can trust. But Peter returns to his universe.
Their next meeting happens very soon for Peter, while Bruce has managed to pick up Dick over the past few years. Another greeting, a quick conversation, a joint fight with lots of tricks and somersaults, and a sudden farewell. And so it is, every time.
During all these meetings, Peter became 3-4 years older. Bruce? He managed to find and lose a second Robin, lose contact with the first, get a third, try to calm the spark of a fourth, find a daughter and a son, and much, much more. Forgive this is rushed, but I wrote this between classes, I'll go on suffering...
everyone rejoice, Ao3 is back
"holy shit they finally confessed, what comes next--"
Currently mourning ao3, I just wanna read my fics💔
I feel like someone got the short straw here

Just a little bit more and the architecture course will lead me to write about Peter Parker, who ends up in DC several times in its different eras.
Peter Parker has had many parental figures over his 20 years: some he genuinely grew attached to, while others were more forced upon him.
For example, Dr. Conners, his idol and later mentor, not only gave him the opportunity to experience life within the confines of a real laboratory but also helped lift the veil on his parents' past. Kurt, briefly, became one of the most important figures in young Peter's life before he completely became consumed by his genius and became the Lizard.
Or Norman Osborn... A man who has always been a deeply conflicted figure in Peter's life. After Ben's death, it was the Osborns who prevented Parker from sliding into a pit of hopelessness. But at the same time, Peter watched for years as this man gradually killed his son, first with his cold behavior, and then with his insane obsession with him for the sake of his experiments.
Tony Stark was obsessive. For several years, Iron Man and Spider-Man teased each other, but after Peter learned his true age, he began chasing him and trying to become the father figure Parker never asked for. Eventually, they began avoiding Stark and Avengers Tower altogether.
Ben is probably the closest Peter could ever call a "father." He was the one who hugged him tightly when, at age four, he learned his parents would never take him home again. He was the one who distracted the grieving child, trying to entice him with science and mechanics. He was the one who put bandages on Peter's torn knees after he fell off his bike. He was the one who told him that with great power comes great responsibility. He was the one Peter Parker ultimately killed.
But in all of this, Richard Parker was nowhere to be found. Peter remembered little about his parents. He remembered him teaching him tricks, remembered his laughter, remembered the sweet, sugary cereal in the morning, but all of that was too easily forgotten after the pain and emptiness that came with the plane crash.
And after he saw Richard "Dick" Grayson - Richard Parker - Peter was furious for a split second. Because it was the face of the man who had once, against his will, abandoned him. The face of the man who had once made him hate other children, who had been practically smothered by their parents' love. The face of the man he remembered more as the tombstone in the cemetery where his parents, Ben and then May, were buried.
But immediately after the rage came an overwhelming sadness. Because Richard Grayson was not his father, no matter what others said. He had no memories of Peter, Ben, or Mary. This was a completely different person. A stranger with his father's face.
he's sick of their dumbassary as we all are

The notes on this post were so toxic that staff just axed em
1969.........
Yes, when the original post is deleted from the server (not just the blog, but the Tumblr servers), there is no root post for notes to be added onto, and also no root post for time to be counted from, so it starts from zero. Most computer operating systems use Unix, which was launched in 1971 with t.he epoch date of midnight on January 1, 1970 as 1. Therefore zero is one second behind that date: December 31, 1969. Also, very unfortunately, this also means nobody except you and anyone you reblog it to will see this explanation, as you cannot open the notes to see comments when there are no notes.
