Hear me out, cherik Taylor Swift folklore love triangle.

If you're not familiar, Taylor Swift's album folklore has some songs centred around a 'fictional' love story. About a highschool summer love affair, chasing two girls, losing the one.

In a small coastal town, Charles Xavier breaks up with his girlfriend, distraught and frustrated he meets Erik Lehnsherr and gets to know him. Friendship soon leads to more, and they share an unforgettable summer. Erik falls hard, but not wanting to push Charles into a relationship too soon he plays it cool, that is until Autumn comes and the winter winds steal Charles away. Erik is unaware how Charles really feels and honestly, so is Charles. Charles ghosts him over the holidays, it breaks Erik's heart and he returns to school the following year bitter and upset.

Charles is still chasing fake status, still trying to get his girl back. But he also doesn't want to let Erik go. Will this summer finally end with the right decision?

We got doomed hetero couple in season 1. Doomed yoai in season 2. My hypothesis is that season 3 will have some sad lesbian shit and complete it's purpose of emotionally destroying everyone (they'll probably find a way for aromantic, non-shippers too don't worry).
