synopsis: You go to a bar to watch your friend's band, that just so happens to have your crush Katsuki Bakugo in it. With the help of your friends, will this crush finally turn into what you've been hoping, or will his hot-headed tendencies make it fizzle out for good?

I feel something on my shoulder, making me look up from my phone.
“Hey, y/n,” I turn to see Ochaco and Midoriya behind me. I smile and shoot them a wave. “Hey, guys, what's up?” They take a seat at the bar next to me. “Nothing much, sorry we’re late, Izuku couldn't find his keys,” Ochaco says, making Midoriya go red with embarrassment.
“It’s ok, you’re not missing much,” I say as I take a sip from my drink, the alcohol burning my throat. Ochaco moves close to me to whisper something in my ear, “Hope I didn’t leave you with them for too long,” She says cocking her head to where Mina and Kirishima stand. “It's fine, I’ve gotten used to it,” I say, looking at them for a second.
Ever since Mina and I became roommates, I’ve had to hear about her crush on Kirishima, which I don't mind, but God, I wish they would just get together. It's so obvious he feels the same way.
“Oh! Hey guys, when did you get here?” Mina says, turning around. We all chuckle at her obliviousness. “We just got here,” Ochaco says with a smile. “Oh hey Midoriya!” Kirishima says, walking over to the green-haired boy, giving him a fist bump. “Hey Kirishima!” The freckled boy smiles, looking at his friend.
“So did you hear about the date Bakugo and y/n have tomorrow?” Mina says with a smirk, making me yelp, “Mina! You can't just be saying that out loud!” I panic and turn to Kirishima, but he and Midoriya are off in their own world, making me sigh in relief. “A date? I knew you wanted his number for a reason!” Ochaco says triumphantly, like she’s finally gotten to the bottom of some lie. “It’s not an actual date,” I clarify, “we are going to the library tomorrow after class to start working on our project.”
The light starts to dim, making everyone face the stage. I sink into my seat in relief, knowing I can’t embarrass myself further. “We’re talking about this later,” Ochaco whispers in my ear, making my cheeks heat up. “Oh shit, I’ve gotta go, guys, I’ll talk to you later!” Kirishima says before disappearing into the crowd.
Coloured lights cover the floor as Jirou and the band all walk out onto the stage. I see Bakugo's blonde hair making its way towards the drums. Mina nudges me with her elbow, and I ignore her.
“Hey everyone, thanks for coming out, hope you enjoy the show!” Jirou says into the mic, making everyone cheer.
A couple of drinks later, they finish their set and move off the stage, everyone applauding them as they leave.
Mina turns to me, two shots in her hands. I give her a confused look. “You’re gonna need this,” she says as she hands it to me. Before I can say anything, I see Bakugo and Kirishima walking up to the group, making me down the shot.
“Hey, guys! What'd you think?” Kirishima says, pulling a huge grin as he flings his arm around the blonde, making him grumble. “You guys were totally awesome!” Ochaco says with a smile, her words slurring slightly. “Kacchan, you did such a good job!” Midoriya says, smiling at the blonde. “Whatever nerd, like I care what you think.” He says, turning away.
“We were just having a couple of drinks before we left. You guys should totally join us!” Mina says, grabbing Kirishima's arm, making me smirk. “Yeah, sounds good,” Kirishima says, grabbing her hand and moving to the other side of the bar.
“We’re probably going to head off now, I’ve gotta get up early, and Ochacos had a bit to drink already,” Midoriya says, rubbing his neck before helping Ochaco off the stool she was sitting on. “Did you wanna come with us y/n?” Ochaco says to me with a smile, “I’ll wait up with Mina, gotta make sure she gets home safe.” I reply, receiving a nod from Midoriya before him, and Ochaco leave.
I turned back to the bar where I was sitting and down the rest of my drink. Bakugo moves and leans on the bar next to me. I raise my hand, getting the bartender's attention, and I order another drink before turning to Bakugo, “Did you want a drink?” I ask, looking up at him. He turns to the bartender, “Water.” The bartender nods and starts to pour our drinks. “No alcohol?” I ask. “I’m sober driver,” he replies before looking around at the bar. “Ah, ok,” I reply as the bartender hands me my drink.
“Y/NNN,” I turn towards the sound and see Mina making her way over to me, swaying a little bit. “I love you, you know that, right?” She says as she throws her arms around me. “Ok, let's cut you off,” I say, chuckling. She always does this when she's had too much to drink.
“Booooo,” She says as she stands up, fixing her posture. I swig my drink and stand up, suddenly feeling a little dizzy, maybe I shouldn’t have been chugging my drinks. “Let’s get you home,” I say as I grab her arms. “See you guys tomorrow,” I say with a smile as we start to make our way out of the bar.
“Wait, how are you guys getting home?” Kirishima asks. “We’re just gonna walk back to the dorms.” I reply, “Are you idiots trying to get yourselves killed?” Bakugo says, his voice clearly annoyed, “I’ll just drive you home.” “No, seriously, it’s all good.” “Just shut up and let me take you home, I’m not gonna let some clearly intoxicated girls walk home alone at night. That would be fucking stupid.” He says as he starts to walk out with us. “If that's ok then, thank you so much, Bakugo,” I say, knowing I can't argue with that. “Tch, whatever.”
We make our way to Bakugo's car, Kirishima and Mina go to the back seat, leaving me in the passenger seat next to Bakugo. The car ride was practically silent besides Minas giggles in the back.
When we get back to the dorms, I get out of the car and help Mina out. Before closing the passenger door, I lean in, “Thank you, seriously,” “It’s whatever.” He grumbles out. I shut the door and help Mina get back into our room.
After I’ve settled Mina into her bed with a glass of water and some painkillers for the headache she's gonna have tomorrow. I get into bed and send Bakugo a text thanking him for the ride one last time before scrolling on Instagram and passing out.
Hey guys thanks for the love on the last post, didn't think I'd get like any likes so to get as many as I did was kinda crazy anyways hope you enjoyed part 2 I'll probably post part 3 sometime in the next couple of days.
