it is starting to dawn on him that something is going to happen to him against his will and he is trying to understand what is about to happen and he is trying to negotiate but also starting to realise that he might be in serious danger and he needs to get out and he is confused and scared and betrayed by a person who he considers his friend and he cannot believe this is happening right now and

his friend is sending him to die for humanity and he doesn’t want it but the choice is about to be violently taken away from him

Possible Ko-Fi scam, beware.

I got this message today on my Ko-fi inbox. It seemed sus, so I didn't use the link and went to my profile to see if there's anything that needs approval. Everything there seems fine.

It MIGHT be a scam. Especially since ko-fi automated mail said 'Support sent you a direct message'. Which... doesn't sound like something actual site would send if there WAS an issue. The user is just named 'Support'.

Let me know if anyone else had this happen.

My mom likes to tell me about how when I was a little kid riding public transport with her I'd always smile and giggle and chat with weird old ladies who smelled like cat pee and homeless folks and strangers dressed in bizarre outfits but any time a tidy and respectable businessman in a suit and tie waved at me I'd immediately clam up, and she takes a great deal of pride in my supposed inherentability to clock personalities but the truth is I do vaguely remember those bus rides, and it was never about the clothes or the hair or the smell, but more because everyone "strange" asked interesting questions and listened to what I had to say and seemed to think about what I said while the neat and tidy and rigid folks only ever acted like they were going through the motions, which was boring as hell and also pretty annoying
