i know my girl modern au Michaela Stirling loves football and her girlfriend Francesca is so glad it's over and she can get back to her normal life. every time she mentions being over it Michaela remembers John thinking exactly the same things. They have a framed photo of John on a side table and Francesca turns it around so he doesn't have to suffer through any more matches. She worries she's made a mistake when Michaela looks at her but then Michaela says "thank goodness he has you."

Michaela gets Francesca ear plugs for the late games but it just means Francesca can’t sleep so she inevitably shuffles into the living room, half-awake, just a little grumble and muttering, Go whoever you’re rooting for, the other team is offsides, that’s a yellow, et cetera… before she falls asleep at the other end of the couch because she knows Michaela will jump up from her seat at a goal.

Francesca never knows who wins or loses until the next day bc Michaela wakes her up by kissing her face and making Francesca sleepily swat her away, so Michaela just giggles some more. There is one morning when Michaela wakes her up with slow kisses that turns into something more heated and Francesca asks if her team won, and Michaela confirms, so Francesca gets out of bed and Michaela is confused until Francesca huffs about refusing to be Pavlovian conditioned to associate sports wins with sex, which Michaela finds incredibly amusing.

the big man is the masculine dom and the dom is the top and the little man is effeminate and transgender but fully passes as a cis man and has top surgery but since he doesnt have bottom surgery he literally has to be a bottom theres no way for someone with a vagina to top and the bottom is the sub and they are both uncomplicatedly homosexual with zero positive emotions for women and they both have adhd and autism but only the kind of autism that doesnt actually disable you and they also crossdress but in a specifically humiliating way (why would a MAN wear a DRESS??? 🤪🤪 etc.) and they live together in a big house that they can both effortlessly afford and they're married and have 2 kids a dog and a cat (because Big man is dog coded and Little man is cat coded) and neither of them have jobs or lasting damage from canon events they've been through or physical disabilities or PTSD that I cant turn into Angsty Ship Content and the sun has a big smiley face and birds are just V shapes on the paper it doesnt have to be more complicated than that you dont have to flesh them out. you dont have to. and if you think about it wouldn't it just be soooo much effort to draw a whole bird?? youre just having fun its mean to ask you for detail. and my teacher lives at the school and the bus driver lives in the bus and everything is exactly the same :)

No but for real the way the two actresses are absolutely drawn to each other in interviews speaks VOLUMES about how well they’ll play real desire on screen and honestly I don’t think they could do a sapphic storyline without exactly that kind of chemistry. And that’s on a queer woman as showrunner. And a competent intimacy coordinator.

Like, do they have to touch each other constantly? No. Are they going to? Yes, absolutely. Every single chance they can get.

It's giving HeYa. An oldie but a goodie. For the folks that are new here, HeYa is Heather Morris and Naya Rivera from Glee.

They're onscreen ship Brittana was born from their background scenes. Because the writers didn't care about their characters in beginning, they were given no instructions so they just did what they wanted. Which resulted in them unable keep their hands to themselves and ended with their ship getting married lol

We can always tell when a pairing doesn't have actual chemistry and Franchaela has it in abundance.

The contrast in episode 6 between the flashback events and the current events, especially in the lighting and acting, especially when it cuts between Hulda’s administration and the nighttime stadium scene is so Jarring. I was scared that they would sanitise gilead because of this trend in the last couple years of shows being scared of presenting dark subjects seriously/realistically. But they’ve used the contrast between the sheltering of these girls and the violence enacted on the generation before them and everyone outside of their bubble to show the many different ways that gilead exerts controls over people.

literally she's my favorite character. she's such a girls girl. she doesn't even know why what happened to beckas dad happened. she knows that becka did it and she wants to help and protect her anyways

agnes going from "god has a path for me, things will be okay, I can find a good match and thrive in gilead" to "I'll run away with you" as soon as she finds out becka wants to leave, she thinks could live a good life there, but she'll leave it behind if becka can't live a good life as well, because her good life necessitates becka at her side - thinking about her romanticizing pushing baby carriages with becka, she's never considered a future where she wouldn't be at her side
