Hello Hatchetfield fandom, this is my contribution!

This made me feel really happy ❤️
as a POC I can’t overstate how much I appreciate this, the third one especially who has this look that has lost so much hope, you can see her eyes swell in real time post transformation and it just goes to show that looking good makes us feel good
it warms my heart to see so many reblog this from me, yet unless you’re Black? (with little exceptions) I don’t think you all really get it, so let me really paint the story here.
the thing about Black hair is that it is varied, like incredibly so. some of us luck out and get what we dub “Good Hair”, hair that is normally not as tightly curled and manageable with a little to midrange amount of effort. But many MANY of us have natural hair that is tough and thick, the curls are small, sometimes very tightly wound, it makes brushing and combing damn near impossible on top of other hair care methods. short as well as braided hair isn’t always desired but for many of us we have no choice, it’s just easier to maintain it that way, it is a sentence, not a style.
keep in mind that hairstyle is a statement, especially when you’re Black, your hair says so much about you in this community in particular. we also have the fact that our standard is held against White standards of beauty, and that is a whole different conversation involving privilege, systemic racism, and internalized hatred—like bitch, this has LAYERS!
take the age into account here for all these women, but in this case I’m specifically talking about the third. now, these are all educated assumptions, but you know where those tears are from? she’s had to live with this hair her whole life! and you just KNOW she’s tried everything!—heat, curling, straightening, perms, softeners/relaxers, HUNDREDS of products that make hundreds of promises, and many of these risk taking out the natural oil and proteins in hair which is a death sentence for Black hair. she had given up hope that anything good could ever be done I’ll bet. that transformation did more than style her hair, it gave her years upon years of hope; Listen to Black folk when they tell you, it’s more than just hair.
this man is doing more than hair, he’s changing lives…I just hope he knows that.
I feel like I'm re-discovering the internet as an adult
my parents never really let me explore what the web had to offer when I was a kid. I was banned from chatrooms, hell I was banned from Roblox because they didn't want me getting groomed (in hindsight, most of this precaution was fair)
but! now in my ripe old age (20), I'm finally finding the motivation to cultivate my own findings on the internet. and I really wanna go deep, like I'm just making my first neocities account and I'm terrified and overwhelmed of the possibilities but also
there are so many fucking cool people on the internet, and I'm tired of doing normal shit, spending an hour on instagram a day to try and keep up with my favorite creators
and I'm not quitting cold turkey from mainstream sites cuz I love my YouTubes even if google is evil and wants my government ID
uhh wish me luck anyone who sees this, I'm just gonna go on a deep dive for the next few weeks and see what happens. I also want to make a blog? might be what this account is for, but I must re-vamp it and change the godforsaken pfp
bit of a random question what would happen if all the trolls dissapear one day from mount rageous and no one could find more fore like years
Haii!!
Oh! Good question!
Regarding Mount Rageous, they would unfortunately not notice any of the Trolls going missing. It really wouldn’t matter to them. Now if we talk about the under city, that’s different.
Under Rageous relies on Trolls as a resource (basically a little something to get there high). Selling Trolls in Under Rageous is a business, so of course chaos will spread of that resource is suddenly gone.
This is going to sound really funny, but do you have any recs for TTRPGs based on/around clowns?
THEME: Clowns
Hello friend, I have a few things, but pickings were a little slim! Some of what I found seems to be a supplement for another game rather than a base game, but I hope you still find something you like.
(Also, I think it's really funny that I found not one, but two games about Clowns vs Vampires.)
Clown Husbandry, by Sterf.
Clown Husbandry is a ttrpg inspired by tumblr's clown husbandry community about a group of college students adopting their first clowns and learning how to raise them.
Thematically, this game is about going to clown school and taking classes to learn how to raise clowns, but the focus on the clowns feels akin to a monster-training game like Pokemon. Clowns are raised and trained to use their traits in Goof-Offs, clown mating rituals designed to impress the clown that you want them to procreate with. A successful Goof-Off leads to a Honking, where the clowns mate and produce offspring.
You use a d4 and a Punnett square to determine the child’s breed and abilities, while your clown trainer uses a d6 to overcome obstacles as they explore a town and use their clowns to solve problems. The game comes with adoptable clown cards, and adventure module called Mystery at the Old Manor. If you like games about collectible creatures, and you want to lean into something really bonkers, try Clown Husbandry!
Clown Helsing, by Planarian.
Dying is Easy. Comedy is Hard.
Clowns. We've all seen them… riding their unicycles, blowing up balloons at parties, piling in garish hordes from tiny cars, waddling around in bulbous red shoes, passed out in a dumpster stinking of booze and regret. For what do these martyrs of mirth sacrifice themselves? The answer is they do it for us. Not just to fill our need for laughter and merriment, but because they defy the doom of mankind! Clowns are man's only salvation against… Vampires.
You've seen Vampires too; you just didn't know it. Maybe they were killing the mood at a party, ruining a great punchline, layering red tape onto a business, or just plain old-fashioned sucking the blood from the living. Contrary to myth they do much of this in broad daylight, their only fear of the sun being that it might expose them to mockery. They drain humor from the world because they fear someone might dare to laugh at them. You know the type.
I’ve played Clown Helsing, and had a great time doing so. It uses Rock Paper Scissors, which means that you don’t really need dice to play - and you barely need pencil and paper, as most of the characters only have a few lines of information that they need to remember. The character generation system involves roll-tables (or pick-lists, if you’re not using dice) to generate clown names and clown styles, and for the Game Master, there’s a very helpful section that will help you build a vampire that the players can’t wait to insult and discredit.
But Dracula…, by MacaroniX.
A vampire has descended upon the town, draping the town in endless night and taking residence in the abandoned castle. The town mayor says we have only one hope. Only the Great Clown Pagliacchi can chase the vampire away. The thing is… you are Pagliacchi. Well, you're the closest we’ve got. But you are not alone. You have your clown posse, and the plan is to drive the vampire away in the only way you know how: the power of laughter!
But Dracula… is a silly, fantasy, zero-prep. one-shot adventure RPG where you play a clown that must chase a vampire out of town, or at least lift the endless night curse. Can you find your way to the vampire and save the day?
Created for the BIPOC Vamp Jam, But Dracula… uses a deck of cards to generate NPCs that can either help or hinder you as you attempt to drive Dracula out of town, and a d6 to help generate your clown character. I’m curious about whether or not this game can be used for other adventures, perhaps driving various different monsters out of town!
Tears of A Clown, for Call of Cthulhu, by Paul Mazumdar.
Cambridge, 1893. The annual Midsummer Fair is open for business and one of the big attractions this year is the Fairground Maxiumus, its steam ride and its team of masked clowns. While looking for a lost friend, the players find themselves getting closer to the clowns than they'd imagined.
This may be centred on clowns, but this is strictly a horror game, with body horror and vore definitely part of the story. As with any Call of Cthulhu game, there's a decent chance you don't make it out of this game alive. If you want a game that targets a player’s or character’s fear of clowns, rather than something goofy or light-hearted, you might find what you’re looking for in Tears of a Clown.
C.L.O.W.N. 3rd Edition, by Hero Games.
Welcome to the zany world of C.L.O.W.N., the greatest collection of jokers and pranksters this side of Stronghold (and they hope it stays that way). Some have guessed that CLOWN stands for the Criminal Legion of Wacky Nonconformists, but no one is really sure if it's an acronym, or just sounds good. (If the founders know, they aren't telling.)
The purpose of CLOWN in your campaign is twofold: to provide you with a selection of truly unique villains to put a twist in your adventures, and to give your players a break from the same old world-threatening catastrophes and wrenching moral dilemmas.
C.L.O.W.N. is a supplement for the Champions roleplaying system, rather than a standalone product. Champions is a superhero game, and C.L.O.W.N. appears to be a supplement about providing clownish super-villains to cause chaos and mayhem in your superhero’s city. This is for the 3rd edition, and I think there’s been a few new editions since then, but I think often with these types of games, you can take the stats from an older edition and update them pretty easily to something newer without much work.
If you want clownish antics in the style of the Joker or Harley Quinn, then perhaps consider C.L.O.W.N.
Other Thoughts…
Apparently there is a Killer Clowns From Hell adventure for Pathfinder and Starfinder! You might be able to adapt it to other OSR or OSE games.

im so AWEASOME
Ok so after talking with the breeder about some scheduling, I’ve decided to go out there and see the kennel myself and introduce myself to Percival then before taking him home. Right now the breeder is away at a Ravenwing sporting event which is why it’s taking a while to bring the Scout home, which is no problem! I’m looking forward to seeing the kennel and this should help the little guy feel more at ease about his adoption and feel safer on the drive back, which was something I was worrying about, so this really does work out better. So while I sit around waiting, I figured I’d share some information about the Dark Angel breed! They are so interesting and diverse, comes with being such an old breed.
So let’s start with the Legion Breed! The original “Dark Angel” breed is one with a long history, founded by one “Lion El’Jonson” a Welsh gentleman, and he is Welsh, a lot of sources say he’s British, but this is incorrect, he was just educated in England and lived there for a long time but that’s a different topic. He bred the Dark Angels to be hardy, highly intelligent and cover several different kinds of roles. The original breed, which is still around to this day due to diligent and careful breeding, is known for their gleaming black coats in contrast to the “Caliban Green” that the modern Chapter Breed sports (Caliban being chosen in honor of the El’Jonson old castle). Though patterns like “checkerboard” are acceptable according to the pedigree guidelines for both.
Now I mentioned that the breed served in several different ways, and this was managed by organizing the breed into six “wings”, which are classified now as “variations”, or sub-breeds. This is something that was carried on with the Chapter/Successor breeds. This is partly to reflect the original Legion Breed and partly because Dark Angels genetically are so diverse and that effects their behavior, thus requiring different training. You can breed two Ravenwings together but not all the marinelings will turn out to be ravenwings. This genetic diversity has helped to keep the breed so strong for so long.
So, let’s talk about those “Wings”!
Most people who have poked around Dark Angel breed information sites, forums and such are likely familiar with two of them: The Deathwing and Ravenwing. Both are stunning in their own ways, fully grown Deathwing have pale coats dubbed “bone” and grow to be much taller than others of their breeds and variations. These bois were originally used for herding/guarding, especially during wartimes where they excelled (there’s actually a sad story related to that but maybe I’ll share that later). Chapter and Successor breed Ravenwing sometimes get confused for the old Legion Breed because of their black coats. The immediate difference is that ravenwing (regardless of breed) are always leaner and way more active, this is so not a variation for those living in cities, seriously.
There are or were 4 other wings belonging to the old Legion Breed but for various reasons, none of them are still around in great number. These are the: Firewing, Stormwing, Ironwing and Dreadwing.
Firewing were used back when the Legion Breed was really active in early wars, think when knights in armor and horseback were used. The best way to describe the accounts of their behavior is to imagine a highly disciplined Night Lord or Ravenguard but they were also dangerous because they could snap at any moment without warning (unless you’re familiar with the variation). But that’s what they were bred for, assassinations and such. From what pictures I’ve seen around and written descriptions, they commonly had red markings but there’s not much more beyond that.
Stormwing is more frustrating because I have not been able to find good pictures of the variation? No descriptions about what they commonly looked like or what they were bred for either. What I was able to find was that there were never a lot of them in the first place, something about the training and traits needed to be classified as one. The variation was bred for something specific during the “knightly” period but after castle sieges stopped really being a big part of battles, I guess there was no reason to keep the variation going sadly.
Ironwing! These are the heaviest and biggest of the variations, Legion Dark Angel Dreadnoughts were all classified as Ironwings when they were around in mass. You know how big dogs have deep barks? It’s the same with these guys, all their vocalizations are all deep and you feel it in your bones apparently. These guys often wore addition armor as well.
And then finally, there’s the Dreadwing. The first of the variations to be banned and breeding straight up forbidden. They were incredibly dangerous and not many people met the strict minimum required to even apprentice to handle them?? Lion El’Jonson was not messing around when he set up the guidelines for these ones. A lot of the records I managed to find (and read for that matter, old English is hard to read) were uh…gruesome. War-time variations sadly all have that in common.
Though on another interesting note! While the Legion Breed is still around and closely monitored for good breeding, there appears to be records of several “Fallen” Dark Angels around. Fallen is the term for the Legion Dark Angels that choose to abandon their owners for one reason or another/are abandoned and end up going feral. Sometimes they join up in squads but never more than that. A lot of veterans in the Dark Angel husbandry field have tried to trap and rehabilitate these Fallen, sometimes they’re successful too. Those Fallen are then dubbed “Risen” to mark that they were formerly feral and that means their requirements and needs are different. The kennel club I mentioned in another post has set up a program to help with finding and helping any Fallen they get calls about. They’re not all bad marines, they just need a second chance.
So, yeah, that my very rambling history(?) post about the Dark Angel breed!
had to show you guys. he looks so unbelievably bad. for context he always gets shit crusted in his fur because he doesn’t maintain it so my mom decided to give him a haircut and wanted to even it out
they greebled him
I dont have my ipad for a couple days but i had to get this idea down somewhere

Hunter and Willow are romantically together as confirmed by the creator herself during the show. Y'all stop with ace headcanons and qpr what the h is it
y'know, I have not reposted any hunter x willow shit in ages because I'm hyperfixated on trolls band together BUT
babes, the point of a headcannon, is that it's NOT Canon. let people portray relationships how they please, ace folks such as myself do not get enough rep in media as is <3
i was in a thrift shop the other day and they were playing the most unsettling variations of normal christmas music, culminating in this rendition of the 12 days of christmas except it was like 12 guys all singing over each other and going “no!” and interrupting the lyrics with random other phrases until they deadass just started singing 5 golden rings to toto’s africa. can anyone confirm that this is a real song and not that i stroked so hard i astral projected into a universe where everything is somehow worse than it is here

Oh I needed this laugh this evening. Thank you so much.
In case anyone didn’t want to leave Tumblr and just hit “play”
Tumblr are you OK? It’s december and you’ve hardly even touched your “twelve days of Christmas by straight no chaser”
"COME CRAWLING FASTER!" "OBEY YOUR MASTER!" "YOUR LIFE BURNS FASTER!"
Dreamworks missed out on a huge opportunity to use the second movie's troll kings/queens to have Velvet and Veneer play different genres of songs. It always bugged me how they forget about the last movie whenever they make a new Trolls
