Facial Mask Tips
Dry Skin: avocado, honey, yoghurt and oil are good ingredients you need to moisturize your skin.
Sensitive (red) skin: cucumber, honey, yoghurt and aloe vera can reduce redness and give your skin a well deserved break.
Oily skin: oatmeal, egg, lemon juice are good ingredients to get rid of the excess oils and dead skin
Skin with impurities like zits or spots: I know from experience that honey always works wonders. Lemon can be very purifying and brightening but use consciously because for some people it can be too harsh. If you want to get rid of more impurities, I would recommend tea tree oil. Its antibacterial and gets rid of blemishes.
Combination skin: congratulations, you have been blessed. A lot of natural products can work wonders like banana, honey and avocado.
A lot of masks ideas add sugar, salt, harsh liquids like pepermint or apple cider vinegar and aloe vera. These can be very harsh on your skin so if you try it for the first time, do not use too much. Or do a patch test first.
Turmeric powder is also very good if your skin is irritated but I can imagine not everybody has it at home. Strawberries are very good due to the acids in them. They can beautifully brighten up your skin and teeth. I would recommend to buy them when they are in season.
Biggest tip is try to use what you have instead of buying products you will maybe only use once.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones. It is okay to take it easy now. It is a difficult time. Rest up and stay strong!
