how beautiful, that even for a sol on a piece of paper, sunjae still only holds empathy for her. doesnt even question her actions (yes i am looking at you sol bashers) she's only just a character in this seemingly 'not special' script and yet hes still able to pick up on its nuances.

most especially, he sees her. sees her pain and sacrifice, and recognizes how sad the story ended for both protagonists, particularly for sol, that even sol herself refuses to accept.

how can she be ever happy when she lost her love? see. it's a sad ending.

as if to say, how hard must it be for you.

No matter the timeline, no matter how many timeskips, no matter the circumstances, Sunjae will always gravitate and fall in love with Sol.

And Sol, no matter how many traumas and pain she will have to endure, she will always be selfless and choose Sunjae's safety and happiness.

Their love towards each other, their sacrifices, and their strength is just beautiful to see. It's a refreshing and beautiful portrayal of great love. A love that transcends time 💛

We talk a lot about Sun Jae's hardships in having to wait 15 years for Sol, but not enough about how insanely difficult that must be for Sol to come back to a life she doesn't remember, surrounded by people she doesn't know, living through the consequences of actions she doesn't remember making.. Imagine not remembering a single conversation you've had with someone you knew like the back of your hand over a decade ago, someone you've never met before suddenly expecting you to be friendly or remember things you've said or done.. Sol's years before high school are so far away they're a blur in her head, but every thing she remembers, everything her life has been, everyone she has met and walked away from, for the past 15 years have vanished. It's so very lonesome in its own cruel way.
